I am curious why you started with the remake and not the original.


I have seen both and also enjoyed the remake. It was just so close to the original, that I find buying the DVD rather pointless myself

My mom and step dad have the original Taking of Pelham 1 2 3..I just haven't watched it yet.

I watched that recently. While certainly not in my top ten, I'll come out and say it's a super solidly made fun movie. Matthau is in top form and the plot unfolds marvelously.
