I Found Another Movie Review Series

I was scanning through my digital cable program guide and I found what must be a new channel...at least I never noticed it before.  The channel is something called Reelz and it is airing a movie review series called Maltin On Movies hosted by...you guessed it...Leonard Maltin.  It airs here at 5:30 pm (about 59 minutes from now) and I plan to check it out.  Today's episode reviews the new Chronicles of Narnia movie...I forget what else.  If I like this show, it gives me something to check out at least until the new series produced by Roger Ebert begins next month.  Then I'll have 2 shows to watch...

Well, I watched it...and was rather disappointed.  The reviews seem to be on the light side.  Maybe it's not too surprising, considering that Maltin is probably best-known for his books of digest reviews.  Of course, it didn't help that my blood sugar levels were low and I had a bit of a hard time concentrating.  I'll probably try watching it one more time next weekend but my hopes won't be very high.  Maybe I'll watch it at least until he does a review of True Grit...

Don't bother, I've watched it a few times, and Maltin has as much charisma as a wet blanket.
