Since today I get a warning from Firefox 4 beta 6 that dvdcollectorsonline is an attacking site providing malware links. No problems with other browsers. Did anybody else receive this kind of message:

It's possible to deactivate this attack detection in FF but I'd like to know the reason.

DJ Doena

Me too, and it's annoying to no end. I'm already on it to figure out what caused it.

I got the same thing... but I am pretty sure it is just some sort of false positive. I Just temporarily turned it off in the options until I am told it is fixed.

If you want to take the same chance (as it turns it off from warning about all sites) you just go to options if firefox... Security and unbcheck Block Reported Attack Sites.

Edit to say:
I found that the link to ignore the warning didn't work... it just took me to another page of theirs.

Yeah, I'm getting it too.

Karsten, what have you done? Who have you been "attacking"? :hysterical:

Not necessarily. But it is not coming from this site itself. Google seems to have found a few links in our forums, which lead to malicious sites.

What links? If that's the issue, I'll remove them.

FWIW: seems to be FF related. No problems with Google Chrome, IE8 and Opera!

Yup, I'm getting it too.

Guess I'll have to useIE8 for this site in the meantime!!!   :thumbdown:

Not entirely sure about this, since the error message says that explicitly dvdcollectorsonline was reported to be a malware site. So it's probably best to contact the developers here.

I have disabled the warning in Firefox until this issue is resolved:
Tools->Options->Security->Block reported attacked sites

Kathy

I couldn't figure out how to fix it and I don't care for the looks of internet explorer. Thank you Tom!
