Bones: Season 4
4. The Skull in the Sculpture
Air Date:
11/05/08
The mangled corpse of an artist is found crushed within one of his own sculptures, and the man's assistant, an old flame of Angela's, is the prime suspect.
Guest Stars:
John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets
Patricia Belcher as Caroline Julian
Carla Gallo as Daisy Wick
Vicki Lewis as Helen Bridenbecker
Jonathan LaPaglia as Anton Deluca
Todd Bosley as Duane
My Thoughts:
Another episode I enjoyed quite a bit. The story is good... and I really liked the side story of Angela and Roxy. It was kind of a surprise... but going by the Angela's character you really shouldn't be surprised. If that makes any sense. Maybe it is partial memory of the episode... but I felt I knew early on into the episode who the murderer was.

I didn't like what was going on with Angela in Season 4. I'm just glad it finally got fixed.
Did you happen to see the finale for this year? Really good episode. First time in years that I haven't been ticked off about something in the finale.

I know what you mean over all about Angela for season 4... but up to this point at least I thought it was good. I forget how far into the season it kinda went sour on me.
Absolutely! Of course I saw the season finale. I won't spoil it here... but I some how felt that final moment of the episode coming. To me it was a surprise that was not a surprise... I just let out a "Ha! Knew It!" at the time!

I was surprised..mostly because I hadn't watched that episode closely enough the first time I think...and the one before. I saw them when they aired, but I was a little distracted. I've watched them both again ...I had to find the one online. The finale is still on my DVR. When I watched it again, I saw all sorts of little hints and clues.

Bones: Season 4
5. The Con Man in the Meth Lab
Air Date:
11/12/08
The corpse of a man with a puzzling false identity is found during a state police training exorcise. Meanwhile, Brennan goes on a date with Booth's younger brother.
Guest Stars:
John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets
Eugene Byrd as Clark Edison
Brian Howe as Sheriff Leonard Wilkinson
Joseph C. Phillips as Colonel Ryan Wolchuch
Mandy Freund as Lily Stegman
Eric Ladin as Paul Stegman
My Thoughts:
Another good episode. In this one we meet Booth's little brother. Which actually overshadowed the case they were working on a bit... as it was a bit more interesting then the case was. Which was only an average mystery. But still enjoyable and well worth watching.

Bones: Season 4
6. The Passenger in the Oven
Air Date:
11/19/08
When a roasted body is found in an oven aboard a flight to China, passangers Brennan and Booth must race to find the killer before the plane lands.
Guest Stars:
John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets
Patricia Belcher as Caroline Julian
Peggy Miley as Charlotte Hanover
Amy Farrington as Kate McNutt
William R. Moses as Arthur Bilbrey
Dyllan Christopher as Eli Bilbrey
My Thoughts:
This is one of my favorite episodes of the season. I really enjoyed not only how they need to work with such a strict timeline... but also how they had to find ways to make due with ordinary stuff to examine the body. Brennan could give Macgyver a run for his money. And the mystery itself is a good... interesting one. And I must say I got a kick out of the two old lady mystery buffs.

7. The Bone That Blew
Air Date:
11/26/08

Guest Stars:
John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets
Ryan O'Neal as Max Keenan
Gina Torres as Dr. Toni Ezralow
Michael Grant Terry as Wendell Bray
Molly Hagan as Elsbeth King
Robin Thomas as Richard King
My Thoughts:
This one is really no more then an average episode. I found that the case didn't interest me as much as most episodes do. I did like seeing Gina Torres (
Firefly
) in an episode though. Even if it was a fairly small part. I was also glad to see Hodgens doing one of his crazy experiments again. The first one since Zack left.

Bones: Season 4
8. Double Trouble in the Panhandle

Guest Stars:
John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets

The Greg Wilson as Tumbles

My Thoughts:
Another average episode. It did have it's fun moments.... but I think it could have been better. How into the circus performance that Brennan had gotten seemed out of character for he. But at the same time it was a nice change of pace.

My Thoughts:
The first thing I have to say is that I really liked how they found the body in this episode... talk about gross! This is a very good episode. I enjoyed every minute of it. And even though I know I saw this one when it originally aired... it is one I remembered next to nothing about. Which made it all that much more enjoyable.

Bones: Season 4
10. The Hero in the Hold
Air Date:
02/05/09
While Brennan and Hodgens race to rescue Booth from the sinsiter clutches of a serial killer known as the Grave Digger, the kidnapped Booth is joined by a mysterious friend.
Guest Stars:
John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets
Brendan Fehr as Jared Booth
Noel Fisher as Teddy Parker
Deirdre Lovejoy as Assistant U.S. Attorney Heather Taffet
Marco Sanchez as Thomas Vega

My Thoughts:
An excellent episode. Definitely one of the best in the season. In this one we finally find out who the Grave Digger is. We also get to see the second appearance of Booth's brother. Who I can not believe I didn't recognize while watching this! I just looked to see if he was in any other episodes and what do I just now realize? He is played by Brendan Fehr... who was one of the stars on the TV Series
Roswell
playing Michael. I liked how they did the whole ghost/hallucination thing.

Bones: Season 4
11. The Princess and the Pear
Air Date:
02/19/09
With Booth on bed rest, Agent Perotta joins Brennan and the Squints as they enter the realm of science fiction and fantasy to investigate the death of a convention worker.
Guest Stars:
John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets
Joel David Moore as Colin Fisher
Tara Buck as Valerie Daniels
Eric Nenninger as Peter Kroon
Oliver Muirhead as Badgley Mormont
Betsy Rue as Shiny Kopinsky
My Thoughts:
A pretty good episode... but nothing really great. Just an average episode really. The story is entertaining but really didn't do anything to hold your attention through-out. Booth is barely in this episode. They used the excuse he was stuck at home on bed rest due to a back injury.

A very good episode. It has an interesting story with a good mystery. Angela's storyline is getting a bit old to me at this point. I am ready for her and Hodgens to get back together already. But over all liked it a lot.

Bones: Season 4
15. The Science in the Physicist
Air Date:

Ryan Cartwright as Vincent Nigel-Murray
John Pyper-Ferguson as Landis Collar

Anil Raman as Dr. Christopher Beaudette

My Thoughts:
This is a fun episode. Not only does it have an interesting murder case... it also has Angela's father back. Which is where most the fun in this episode comes from. He is looking for revenge because he thinks Hodgens broke Angela's heart. And I must admit... I like the way this guy thinks... he got his revenge in a very creative way.
