This is a big day for westerns fans with birthdays of Tonto, Matt Dillon and Duke Wayne.  I have too many Duke Wayne movies to list.  For James Arness, I have two films he did with John Wayne (Hondo and Island In The Sky)...I know he did Big Jim McLain but I forget if I have that.  Mainly, though, I have a ton of Gunsmoke...probably somewhere in the vicinity of 200 episodes including 3 Gunsmoke TV movies done after it ended as a series.  Jay Silverheels I have a lot of The Lone Ranger including the 75th Anniversary Edition (which includes the first 2 seasons), most of the episodes of the last (color) season and 2 feature films.  But he was in True Grit?  I didn't realize that despite the fact I've seen that movie more times to count.

He is uncredited in True Grit, but he was the condemned man at the hanging (according to IMDb, for what it's worth).
