I don't know anyone ever the age of about 13 that is Obsessed with it

On a side note, the director Catherine Hardwicke had previously made a great movie for 13-year-olds. It's even called Thirteen. Of course, that one got an R rating in the US.  ::)

...I thought a R rating in the US was just restricted, you can still watch it with a guardian?

although..... ;P must have alot of sex in it, it even got an 18 rating here! that's surprising, seeing as often these "uncut" American comedies, would not have been cut in the UK if they had been released in there original version and still be rated 15 ;P

...I looked Thirteen up, I had seen it around but never really took much notice, this surprised me :/ "It is an autobiographical film based on Reed's life at age 12 and 13. The script was written in six days and originally meant to be a comedy"

Yep. Nikki Reed was 13 when she wrote the screenplay, encouraged by Hardwicke. If you cringe at that very idea, be assured that she pulled it of. In many ways, Thirteen is the Anti-Twilight and, not only compared to Meyer's writing, it is pretty mature. Also, great performances by Evan Rachel Wood, Holly Hunter and Nikki Reed herself.

Critter

I saw Thirteen years ago. I dont remember if I was overly impressed by it but I thought it wasn't too bad.

How Twilight Should Have Ended (I haven't seen the movie nor read the book, but I think this video is spoilerish)

Critter

Thanks for that Tom. The end was my favourite.
"But vampires can't live in the sunlight"
"They do in my world."
"I think I'm gunna be sick..."

Classic ;D

Dragonfire

I had to go out to run a few errands this evening and ended up in the mall, where the movie theater is.  I had the extreme bad luck of being in the restroom when it was invaded by a bunch of teenage girls just out of the movie who felt the need to argue over if Edward or Jacob is cuter..in the bathroom of all places.  Sheesh.  Do your business and get out..but no they were standing around, blocking the sinks and paper towels.  One or two even had to make cell phone calls about the movie.

So anyway, i found something that explains my point better then I could XD

everyone likes something a little too much.

Dragonfire

There was a funny take on Twilight on Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago with a Frankenstein monster in place of Edward.
