He said the doctor told him it was because he drank too much milk.

This was one of the reason I got them. When I was in my teens, I used to drink between 1/2 to 1 gallon of milk a day. That and I would rarely drink water.

Dragonfire

My step dad didn't drink much water either...he still doesn't at times, but it is a little better.

Hmm, maybe thats why it ha James... I once saw him drink 2 litres of milk in about an a few hours :S

The one consolation with me was that I've never broken a bone, and there have been a few times I should have.

I broke my leg, got a walking cast and was playing tennis on it the next day! :training:

One of the worse injuries that really got to me was a few months ago, I ruptured my calf muscle. I was walking across the street from my house and I heard this loud pop. I collapsed to the ground - I actually thought I had been shot.

What sucks is the recuperation time. Plus, the doctor now told me I have micro tears on my Achilles's tendon. We're hoping that this will heal on its own otherwise I will need surgery.

Achim

OMG, Kathy, that sounds terrible! Wish you all the best to recover as quickly as possible.

Dragonfire

Ouch...that sounds painful.

venomsinner

Maybe I should cut down on the milk I don't want another one.

Sorry to hear that Kathy, it sounds painfull I hope you get better without surgery.

Kathy

The first few weeks were terrible but nowI'm really doing much better.

But, I must admit I'm a little sick of it. I've always been in great health and, when sick, recuperated extremely fast.

This is the first time in my life I ever had a set back with something...and it sucks!  :voodoo:
