This has been the smallest year for me since I started collecting in 2000.  My retirement in early 2010 has taken its toll on this pastime, for sure.

Total purchases of movies and TV Seasons - 112 (2010 - 92; high: 2008 - 483)
Purchase price - $985.52 (2010 - $1746.07; high: 2008 - $6283.11)

First Purchase

The Romance Collection

Smallville: The Final Season

Last Purchase ^

KinkyCyborg

I don't keep track of purchase price for my movies (lest my wife should ever discover that grossly obscene total) but I do know I added 1,140 dvd movies or sets to my collection this year. My Bluray statistics are kind of suspect but I am certain I have acquired well over 600 Blu-Rays in 2011 as I currently sit at 901 in my collection and I only started collecting them around the 4th quarter of 2010.

A total of 329 purchases, maybe I'll do a split of those later.

First
Mars Attacks!

Last

The Devil's Double

My DVD/HD-DVD/Blu-ray Collection
My Library
My CD Collection - sorry I use readerware for that and it doesn't have an online component.

I just realized at Christmas that I didn't spend a single nickel on DVDs this year :o
I have a collection.
It can be found here.
No need to check it often.
I update it only twice a year!

Some orders are still not delivered, but the total purchases in 2011 is 225, which made this the year with most purchases since I started collecting :bag:. (Although, looking at that phpDVDProfiler chart makes we wonder if there is a problem somehow, since 2009 is shown with less than half of that (109), which seems a bit low :hmmmm:) More than half of my purchases in 2011 were Blu-rays.

I managed to buy nothing throughout February, July and August.

First: Apocalypse Now (Three-Discs Full Disclosure)

Last: Godzilla (The Criterion Collection) [pre-order]

Possible since a lot of movie moved to 2011 from me too when I create a custom identifier. Maybe there is a bug that reset the purchase date when we move them

I was thinking more like an incomplete update or something like that... I hope it's not actually changed in the profiles. :fingerchew: I'll have to check it out again within DVD Profiler itself.

You can also check if you have any conditionals in the localsiteconfig.php. For examply I only count profiles that have a purchase price > 0.00 to filter out all child profiles of TV sets.

I do indeed have a bunch of conditions in effect, thanks or the pointer!

However, I double checked in DVD Profiler and it seems reasonable. Looks like 2009 was the one year I actually managed to cut down my purchases

I know it is not quite time to post this yet.... but since I just today got the chance to put in the database query plug-in. That is when I looked at the dreaded totals... but I must admit... i found myself more proud of how well I done more then anything else.... in a big part thanks to all the great friends I have giving me DVDs...

Total SRP: $92,705.12
Total Price Paid: $17,149.22
Total % Saved: 81.5%

Not meaning to be insulting or something like that but is the SRP really a realistic way assuring oneself that one saved money during your purchases?

:o
I would be a dead man for spending only a fraction of this.

.
If The Best of All Possible Wives finds out that I already spent about € 2000 (~ U$ 2540), I'm dead anyhow.  :-X

addicted2dvd

Well... that is over the past 15 years since I started collecting.

OK,
this explains it.
But in this case it's not exactly a "Years End Total", isn't it?
