I Am Legend

After waiting months for this to come out, then booking cinema tickets, finally viewed the film today.

Without disclosing any spoilers, just to say both my son and I, and from the reaction most of the audience, left the cinema disappointed with a feeling of being cheated with regards to storyline and satisfactory ending. Such a shame, the effects and cinematography were awesome, but they could have done so much more with this production.

Sorry to hear this... I still want to see it for myself though. But now I will wait for the DVD for sure.

I enjoyed the movie, but had to get in the mind set that even though it is called I am Legend, it is not the book.  I loved the book and the movie really has nothing to do with it.  As for the ending, I prefer the book ending.  But since they pretty much ignored the book, they could have done a better ending.  Overall though, I liked the movie.  Also, Last Man on Earth and The Omega Man are based off the novel.
