Wow, had me surprised there for a second. What's with the name change? What does V'ger stand for?

Critter

It's a Star Trek thing I think. Something to do with 'Voyager' wth some of the letters missing.

Or I could be completely wrong...

That is quite possible and crossed my mind. Karsten is a fan... Then it could also be somehow related to the series V...?

Hmm maybe, I have only seen the first four episodes of V and saw nothing to do with 'V'ger', it could have occured after the episodes I watched though.

It was my very first nick on my very first internet forum 11 years ago (it was a Star Trek
forum after all ;)). Don't worry, it won't last. ;)

It's from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. A huge cloud travels towards Earth's system identifying itself as V'ger. It tries to find its makers.

In the end it turns out that in the heart of the cloud is a Human space probe: Voyager 6.

It was one of the greatest episodes. Star Trek Rules.

Changed my username as well. Surprised it was not taken already.

That name change confused me too for a minute until I figured out who it was.  Though I had no clue what it was from at first.
