Have a great time Tom! :)

Thanks  :)
I think we will.
Has anyone recommendations for what we shouldn't miss to visit?

Enjoy your trip.  Are you going to any of the parks there? Disney?  Universal?  Wizarding World of Harry Potter?

Thanks. Yes, we will visit one or two parks. Probably Sea World and Universal'a Islands of Adventure.

Nice.

I went to Universal years ago...before they did the Islands of adventure.  It was fun.  They had something about Hitchcock that I really enjoyed if they still have that.  It was sort of like a short movie.  I believe there were some interviews with some people connected to some of the movies - mostly Psycho I think.  It has been a while.  They even showed footage in 3D from The Birds - it was originally going to be in 3D.  That was awesome...and freaked me out.  I was ducking and swatting at the birds.  lol
I loved Epcot at Disney.  Disney/MGM was fun too.  Those are the only two parts of Disney that I have been to.  Maybe I'll make it back someday.

Use sunscreen.  Lots of sunscreen.  The sun is more intense there and people get nasty sunburns in no time.  A hat with a big brim would be good too if you are going to be out in the sun - like at one of the parks.  It was actually when I went to Universal.  In the morning right after we got in, we went in one shop.  There was a woman wearing shorts and a bikini top.  Her skin was very, very pale.  We saw her again that evening before she left.  Every bit of exposed skin - which was a lot with how she dressed - was bright, bright red.  So use sunscreen and wear a hat.

As some of you know (from Facebook), I recently moved homes. Still quite busy arranging the new place, which is why I have less time to come here these days.

We are now in the US, but we missed our connection flight because of immigration. We are now stuck in Philadelphia and got another flight for tomorrow early in the morning.

Dragonfire

Enjoy your trip.

The stories I hear about immigration is almost the single reason I am not in a hurry to plan a trip to the US anytime soon. There always seems to be "something".

Hey, if you just walk in across the Mexican border, it's a piece of cake!   ;)

Welcme back! Did you have a good time?

Yes, I did. Except for the food. Cannot compare to German food. Neither what you get at the supermarket, nor in the restaurants.

DSig

Yep .. nothing like toast pieces with bacon fat smeared on them :)
Thank you

Did you avoid getting sunburn?

Did you avoid getting sunburn?

No, even though we used sun protection.

Dragonfire

The sun is more intense in Florida.  A lot of people who don't normally get a sunburn end up with one there.
