As I posted in the Hollins thread... We are leaving tonight. While I will still have access to the net... I imagine my time will be very limited. And probably most that time will be for posting to the Trip Blog. So don't forget to follow our trip there! Though I will try to do other things as well.

I will be getting back home in the early morning hours on the 2nd.

Just FYI: I'll be out of comission for the next few days, some minor issue with the gallbladder the hospital wants to take a closer look at.

Ouch - I've heard gall bladder problems are painful. I hope all goes well and your hospital stay is short.

They already removed one stone that had moved out of the gallbladder with the periscope thingy. I'm feeling way better already.

Sadly, my time is up. Internet here is by the quarter of an hour.

My mom was miserable when she had that last gallbladder attack..it went into pancreatiitis - no clue how to spell that. She was in the hospital almost a week to get that calmed down before they removed the gall bladder. It was not a pleasant time.

Hopefully them removing the stone clears up your issues. Hope you feel better soon.

That is some radical surgery - I hope everything goes smoothly. Have you had back problems for a long time?

Unfortunately for me this Friday, November 1st is a holiday in Southern Germany or else my operation would take place then. Now it's scheduled to be on Monday but since I'm feeling way better I'm hoping to get leave over the weekend to be back on on Sunday.

Yeah .. i was in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago (was too old then and knew better) and have been falling apart since. Next is knee and hip
