I noticed a couple movie franchises that has 2 movies coming out the same year. In this case I was wondering what order I should watch them...

The first one I think I know... but want to be sure.

The Invisible Man: Legacy Collection
- The Invisible Man 1933
- The Invisible Man Returns 1940
- The Invisible Woman 1940

- The Invisible Agent 1942
- The Invisible Man's Revenge 1944

Since that is how the box art lists it... I would think that is the intended order. Or does it matter?

The Matrix
- The Matrix Reloaded 2003
- The Matrix Revolution 2003

This one I imagine does matter what order I watch... is the above correct?

The Mummy: Legacy Collection
- The Mummy 1932
- The Mummy's Hand 1940
- The Mummy's Ghost 1944
- The Mummy's Curse 1944

Since that is how the box art lists it... I would think that is the intended order. Or does it matter?

I think you're correct, but re: The Matrix. My suggested order is:

1) The Matrix

erm...

Yeah. That would be it.

Use the other two as coasters for your drinks while you watch the film. They really are awful and easily the worst mainstream sequels... ever. Devil

Laugh Even if that is true... I have to watch them at least once... as they were given to me. And I always say if something is given to me I will watch it at least once. Which is how I got roped into some musicals here lately.   Tongue

I agree with Jon wholeheartedly but if you absolutely must watch the Matrix sequels than it's first Reloaded and then Revolutions.

For the Classic Monster Legacy Collection I would just go by the DVD menus, left to right. They indicate the proper sequence (I just watched some of them recently). However, they are not really connected anyway, so mixing them up will not lower your enjoyment.

I wasn't real sure on the order of some of those in the Legacy collections either.  I had hoped to have more of them watched by now.
Things are getting back to normal, so I hope to start watching more again.
