I was sitting here watching a show and playing on DVD Profiler when an idea popped in my mind for next weekend's movie marathon. I was thinking of having a Mystery Theme Marathon. Where I don't announce the theme and see who here can first correctly identify the theme.

Of course I would have to make it something that is not too obvious that would include a wide variety of movies. And yes I do have a fairly good idea what theme I may do... even though it may change between now and then.

The question would be would you all prefer me to say yes that is the theme I am having as soon as someone gets it... or save it till the end of the weekend and then say yes... such and such person got it right first. Another thing we could consider is once someone gets it correct I could change the theme and we can start over again.

Thoughts?

I think it would be best to wait until the end of the weekend and then announce the theme and if anyone won it.

I actually have another idea on how to do this. I could start my thread for the marathon right away... listing all the movies I could possibly watch for this marathon. And see if anyone can get the theme of the marathon before I start it this weekend... how that sound?

You done it already anyway, but I really enjoy the idea (although I have no clue, given the diverse list you posted Laugh)
