Looking for a Movie

My step father has asked me to try to find a movie for him that he really liked but hasn't seen in a long time.  It is supposed to be set after the fight at the Alamo and deal with Sam Houston going after Santa Anna.  At least I think he said it was Houston going after Santa Anna.  He can't remember if it was made for television or theaters or when it was made.  He thought it was called After the Alamo. I did some looking and can't find any mention of a movie with that name, so I'm thinking that isn't right. 

Anyone have any ideas what movie this might be?

Could it be The Alamo: Thirteen Days of Glory

It has cameo by Lorne Greene as Sam Houston was made in 1987 and is a made for TV film.

No I didn't...I didn't think of that.  I'll try that...
And I'll check on The Alamo: Thirteen Days of Glory and see if that might be it.
