Emma it's impossible to not finish the horror marathon. This one doesn't any rules concerning the number of films we need to watch, so you can watch only one and complete the marathon (of course, it isn't a big effort). Not everybody had to be crazy like Pete or me and watch a tons of movies everyday

You aren't the only one excited about it : Everyday I see some movies I want to watch now laughing at me because I must wait :(

I know... but i always set myself a goal and fail so badly  :tease:

as was said... there is no real rule on how to do it... but how about the way I do it? simply attempt to beat the best you did in past years. Last year I failed terribly. Though that was do to the hospitalization and death of my mother. :( Hard to believe she has been gone almost a year now. :(

Less then 2 weeks away... how many are planning to participate in the annual Christmas marathon?

I will be doing my usual 25 Days of Christmas Marathon Where I watch Christmas related movies and TV Episodes. I already have a decent sized collection of Christmas movies and episodes... but I am hoping to get more before too long.

As far as I can tell I only have one film really related to Christmas in any way and that's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Certainly not enough for a marathon haha.

Tom

I may be doing the DVDCOLLECTORSONLINEXMASMARATHON variant again. So not specifically christmas movies.

addicted2dvd

Yeah... that is one you would be able to do as well Sophie!

And if you really want a challenge you could always change Xmas to Christmas... and make it...

36 movies instead of 31. :P

Ha, I'll think about it. Although I think I should probably just concentrate on my Buffy one for a while, and perhaps add a few more animated films into my animation marathon before starting any new ones.

Dragonfire

I'm sure I'll be watching Christmas movies.  I just don't have as many of those as I do ones that work for Halloween.

Achim

I don't have lot of Christmas movies either and don't loan to watch those all in a row. I think I will maybe watch a cluster around Christmas itself though. I am trying to "annualize" the watching of "A Christmas Story" and "A Nightmare Before Chiritmas" has been unwatched for too long...

I am just being given both A Christmas Story and A Nightmare Before Christmas (among several others)... so I am looking forward to seeing them for the first time. I have seen bits and pieces of A Christmas Story on cable... but never all the way through.

Pete! The Nightmare Before Christmas is a musical! Beware...  :tease:

Yeah... Brittany told me yesterday evening. Not looking forward to the music... but am looking forward to watching it with Brittany... the quality time with her will make all the music in it worth it.

Haha, I feel like I should tell you that the songs in TNBC are some of my all-time favourites. I know them all off by heart and love listening to the soundtrack. I know your relationship with music however and I have a feeling that my words probably won't help the case at all.

Critter

So I'm going to do a Cowboy Bebop marathon as a break from my Buffy one. It's a 26 episode anime and unlike the other anime I have reviewed here I will be reviewing it episode-by-episode. In the end though I will put a link to it on the list of my animated TV series reviews in my bigger animation marathon where I am including films and TV series.
