IMDb is your friend.
He has over 10 roles to his credit, maybe one of our British friends has seen anything? I have never seen him before. However, since he worked for terry Gilliam before I would think he is not entirely talent-free.

It's fun to read the big deal that some people do at imdb because he is British
No French Canadian had made a big deal when Vincent Price did a French Canadian with a french accent from France in The Fly

I read yesterday or the day before that he's 26. Since it has been said they want to set the new movie when Peter is still in high school, he seems a little old for that, depending on how many movies they intend to make while he's still younger.

I just watched Carnal Knowledge, in which Jack Nicholson plays a college student when he was actually 35!

In my collection I've a film called Sweet Sixteen from Shaun Costello and this is supposed to be about a gang of 16 years old teenager. I like the way Shaun Costello describe it :
This is one of the "One Day Wonders" made for $5,000. for the Gambinos. At this point they were into teenage titles so I came up with Sweet Sixteen. The problem was the available cast wasn't young enough to remotely resemble the title. When my partner and I screened this picture for Sid Levine, the Gambinos front man, he just shook his head and said, "Sweet Sixteen?.... You guys should have called this, 'Life Begins At Forty'".

Stockard Channing was 33, Travolta was 24, Newton-John was 30.
This was the inner city, so that's not completely out of the question!!!!

While I like Grease, I always thought they looked too old for the parts. And yes I know about suspending reality and all that. I just thought I read something back after the news first came out about the new Spider-Man that the studio said they wanted to cast younger this time...I really thought I read them talking about casting an actual teenager. Though maybe I'm remembering wrong.

Grease 2 did a better job on this, but not too many people would admit it's the better one. I find Grease "boring" compare to the sequel who had a better soundtrack, Michelle Pfeifer, Maureen Teefy and Tab Hunter.

I like Grease 2. Don't think I consider it better, but I like it. I never did get what was so bad about it.

The trailer is dreadful, but I still think this could turn out to be really good as a decent origin story. Of the previous three, I liked one and two a great deal, but big mistakes were made. I never liked the ridiculous re-tooled idea of how Parker got his powers... ok, so "ridiculous" is all relative in films like this, but some kind of logic still has its place in comics! Then there's the organic web-shooters, getting him out of college too quick, and the horrendous part three with 'emo' Parker. This movie has a lot of potential to do it right. I'm liking Garfield's style as Spidey, really seems to capture what I remember from what was my favourite comic as a kid.
Still, I hope the demasking moment isn't repeating the mistakes part two made...
