The Brady Bunch: The Complete Series
Here's the story... The COMPLETE story of America's most beloved TV sitcom family, The Brady Bunch©! This groovy and far-out collector's edition features al 117 hilarious episodes on 20 discs plus a special bonus disc featuring new-to-DVD Brady gems: The Brady 500, A Very Brady Christmas, and two episodes from The Brady Kids animated TV series!

You'll want to re-live the laughs again and again!

It's the way they became The Brady Bunch!

Never Too Young
After he defends his classmate Millicent (guest star Melissa Sue Anderson) at school, Bobby is rewarded with a kiss - and exposure to the mumps! Is he contagious enough to ruin the Bradys' "Roaring '20s" party?

My Thoughts:
I watched this episode today because it is Melissa Sue Anderson's birthday.  This episode is very well known for Bobby's first kiss... and when she kisses him he sees fireworks. Sure it is a corny episode... actually it is a corny series... especially by today's standards. But all the same it is a fun blast from the past. Which is strange as I never really cared for this show as a kid... but yet I enjoy it today.

My Rating:

Bobby's First Kiss

My Thoughts:
With today being Donna Douglas' birthday I thought I would watch some Beverly Hillbillies. Unfortunately all I  have is this cheap boxset. Where they not only replace the theme song... but they actually cut off the end credits on some of the episodes. So today I ended up watching a few episodes and enjoyed seeing this series for the first time in a long time. It is a shame this set leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to video quality.

NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: The Complete Second Season
N.C.I.S.: The Complete Second Season continues to thrill audiences with its surprising twists and character-driven stories in this incredible six-disc set. Led by Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), this squad of highly trained N.C.I.S. agents proves it is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to thwart espionage and terrorism around the world. Intense and fast-moving, all 23 episodes of N.C.I.S.: The Complete Second Season are filled with even more of the wit and humor that has become a signature of this smash-hit show's incomparable style.

SWA K -- Original Airdate: 05/10/2005
Tony opens a letter only to release a mysterious powder into the N.C.I.S. squad room. Now the team must work to discover an antidote before it's too late.

My Thoughts:
I watched this one today because it is Tamara Taylor's birthday today. Most of you will know here as Dr. Brennen's boss on Bones... but since I watched all the episodes of that show that I own I wanted to watch something else today.

This is such an excellent episode. When you first watch this episode you get the feeling we are about to loose one of the regular characters of the series. I liked how this episode showed no matter how much they argue Kate really does care about Tony... and will go through much to help him.

Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman: The Complete Second Season
He catches bullets in his hand, snatches innocent citizens from the jaws of death, and zooms bombs, toxic chemicals and other deadly whatnot deep into outer space. But just when you think nothing can overwhelm Superman, love brings him to his knees.

Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher are back for the thrilling second season of new adventures. Action reigns as the Man of Steel unleashes chop-'til-you-drop martial arts moves to battle a mysterious Chi master, pits his mighty powers against the firepower of resurrected '30s mobster Al Capone, and mows down a perp walk of twisted-genius bad guys who challenge him with a lethal array of threats, theft, murder and mayhem. Super hero. Super action. You've got 'em both.

Operation Blackout (10/30/94)
Where were you when the lights went out? A citywide blackout has Lois and Clark hunting for a culprit(and a motive) while the rest of the DAILY PLANET staff scrambles to publish sans technology.

My Thoughts:
I watched this one today for J. T. Walsh's birthday. This one is an entertaining... but somewhat average episode. I will admit it was fun to watch Lois go through technology withdraws.

M*A*S*H: Season One
Relive your favorite M*A*S*H moments with this three-disc DVD Collector's Edition containing all 24 classic Season One episodes!

Korea, 1950. They were a MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) unit stationed three miles from the front. Incoming helicopters full of wounded brought the horrors of war to them daily and sometimes bullets flew right outside the operating room door. Hilarity and hijinks were all that kept them sane. Now journey back to that special place where friendships were forged, laughter was found and drinks were served.

My Thoughts:
Today I watched almost the entire first season of M*A*S*H in honor of Larry Linville's birthday. I really got into watching it and once I started I just couldn't stop. This is just a great classic sitcom. It was a lot of fun revisiting the series. In this series Larry Linville plays Frank Burns... ole ferret-face himself. It was always worth a lot of laughs with all the stuff Hawkeye and Trapper pulled on him.

My Thoughts:
To complete my September Birthday Marathon I decided to celebrate Barry William's birthday by watching Greg Brady through the years. I decided to watch a handful of episodes from each season. Then top it off with one of the reunion movies included in the complete series set.  So today I ended up watching....

From Season 1:
- Katchoo
- A Clubhouse is Not a Home
- The Hero

From Season 2:
- The Slumber Caper
- A Fistful of Reasons
- Double Parked

From Season 3:
- Her Sister's Shadow
- The Teeter-Totter Caper
- The Big Bet

From Season 4:
- Bobby's Hero
- The Subject Was Noses
- Room at the Top

From Season 5:
- Snow White and the Seven Bradys
- The Driver's Seat
- The Hairbrained Scheme

Reunion Movie
- The Brady 500

So I spent the last day before my big horror marathon with a real blast from the past. Getting away from the worries of today... to a simpler... not to mention cheesier time. Anyway... I enjoyed watching these episodes again. Which I still find strange since I didn't care for this show when I was a kid.
