I haven't seen the Frankenstein movies in a long time (especially the ones after the first) so I might do that.  I think I still have that disc that has the rare 1910 silent Frankenstein short, too.  I'm not sure I'll watch Dracula as it hasn't been that long since I've seen it.

Here's an oddity...I glanced at the list of horror films TCM is showing on the 30th and 31st and they aren't showing any of the classic Universal horror films this year...no Dracula, no Frankenstein...I didn't think to look for Mummy movies but I doubt they'll show those, either.  They are showing Freaks, though.  :tv:

AMC use to show the classic Universal horror movies.  That is how I first saw Dracula and Frankenstein...some of the Mummy movies.  I remember when AMC would play those movie all month long..then they went with just like a week or maybe 2.  The classic movies haven't been on there in years.  They have just been showing newer stuff.

Yeah... I definitely consider Psycho horror... and will be watching it before the end of the month for sure (all 4 parts!)
If my marathon wouldn't have been low budget only, I would have watch the 1998 remake to give it the most positive review ever seen... Of course just for the fun of teasing Jon.

Wel... with only 24 minutes to go I think it is safe to say...

I MADE IT!!!  :yahoo:

I will be watching my first movie right at the stroke of midnight!

I wonder if I'm the only one who won't be doing a horror marathon in October?
No, I will not join either. Although my abstinence is rather forced as I am simply not anywhere near my DVD collection throughout the first 3 weeks of the month. My I will think some horrible thoughts to compensate...? :hmmmm:

I don't know...DID Pete make it?  Isn't talking about horror all month long the same as watching it?  :tease:

I won't do anything marathon-like either, but I will try to watch at least a few horror movies. That peer pressure thing.  ;)

...maybe one or two silent horror films (Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari)...

IMHO those would be two great choices.
