To be fair to Where's Wally (the proper title... ) there was a cartoon that was popular and when I watched a clip on YouTube, I couldn't help thinking (apart from "this is shit") that it had some similarities with Tin Tin, in terms of mood and strange sub-characters. I bet the idiots think that they can ride on the back of Spielberg's and Jackson's trilogy.

We often mention Last House on the Left and I've been trying to find comments about the new one. I'm sure it's somewhere. Reason being I thought you might enjoy this footage from Mark Kermode's radio show. He's one of the UK's higher profile critics, doubling as a presenter, and he really knows his stuff. I don't always agree, of course, but he is always worth listening to.

Anyway. Here he reviews Last House on the Left (new), while coming up with the best defence of Last House on the Left (old) I have heard yet. I'm gracious to this defence because he seems to otherwise have a similar reaction as myself. Although he never calls it "worst film ever made" while I make it part of the title...

Jimmy will be having a laugh at the story of Craven walking out of Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs .

[spoiler]Tarantino was baffled that Craven walked out, "the man who made Last House on the Left just walked out of my film!". Craven told Tarantino later that he felt that the violence in Last House had a point whereas in Dogs it was just there for the sake of it.[/spoiler]
