Reminds me of the "Bullshit" video Tom posted, except that was the Bond sets. :D

Karsten, where are the cardboard holders of the Star Trek sets???

Extactly where mine also landed. Except I cut out the EAN first and put them inside the cases. Is this a sign that I am too much influenced by Profiler?

BTW: Did you know that the original Star Trek TNG DVD holders assemble one huge picture when unfolded and put in a row?

I once scanned the first four seasons and put them together. The picture was over 4000 pixels wide even at reduced size.

No, I didn't know this.

Here a quick fotograph of the first three seasons:

Well.. this turned out to be nothing but a huge bust. My brother showed up today.. carrying in the scanner/Printer/Copier. I was naturally excited. 2 problems... first he can't find the disc. I said no problem I can get the drivers and all online. Then he said the printer won't work a piece holding the cartridge in broke. Bummer... but ok I mainly wanted it to scan with.

But what do I find out when I hook it up? As long as the printer don't work... it will not allow any of the other things to work... so no printer... no scanner. It will do nothing but tell me to fix printer cartridge... and will not let me bypass it to use the scanner!  :voodoo: :voodoo: :voodoo:

I used to work with those a lot. They're pretty good, but old and the equivalents are now much cheaper in the UK at least. £50 would get you an ok one.

Oh, we had a similar one in our office; came free with the plotter we purchased 6 years ago. It gave up service after 5 years of printing and printing and printing. Didn't want to keep it as a scanner-only device though

I still don't understand why it won't let you scan if you can't print. Have you an error number or message or something like this?
