A chance the title is in bold or I wouldn't have the slightest idea of what you have pre-ordered :tease:

How's that?

A new one this morning

Schoolgirls in Chains / Terror Circus (Code Red)

Schoolgirls in Chains- In a remote country house, a crazy mother encourages her two sons to kidnap young women and chain them up in the basement. The girls are treated like animals and then subjected to games that grow increasingly sinister and depraved. When the two raving lunatic brothers tire of their playthings, the girls must be replaced...

Terror Circus- Three beautiful young women are on their way to Las Vegas to become showgirls. They quickly end up stranded in the middle of the Nevada desert with a broken down car. Enter Andre, who offers them a lift to his place and a tow truck. The girls quickly learn that there is more to Andre than meets the eye and they are soon taken prisoner.

I probably mentioned a month or two ago that I had pre-ordered the current version of True Grit by the Coens but I didn't know when it was coming out.  I got an e-mail from Amazon a day or two ago telling me this title is scheduled for release in June.

Jimmy

I've pre-order this morning my first Blu-Ray who isn't a combo pack, it was supposed to be Lickerish Quartet but this one is delayed to an unknown date :(.

No cover yet and it's a movie I haven't bought when it was first on dvd years ago. In theory it will be release in june, but being a Shriek Show release I'm sure it will be delayed a couple of times before I got it

I just read where two more John Wayne westerns are getting Blu-ray releases so I need to order these...

The Comancheros
The Horse Soldiers

I went to order these but Amazon.com only has a listing for one of them so far.  So maybe I'll wait and check again tomorrow...  :-\

Dragonfire

Sometimes it takes a little longer for movies to show up at Amazon..no clue why.

Usually it happens when a title was annonce, available for pre-order and cancel. Some titles don't appear before their release day because of that (Ritual from Code Red DVD is an example of this, since this movie will be release in less than a month and is available everywhere for pre-order but not on amazon because a precedent release was cancel)

Jimmy

#265
Just pre-ordered those two from Amazon Canada

What can I say I love this film :-[
I even own the precedent full frame release from Rhino

From Amazon UK (I don't really like the cover, but it's a reversible one so the original art is there)

Brenda's got a switchblade and she knows how to use it...

See Linda Blair (The Exorcist) take bloody revenge on a gang of low down dirty street punks in Savage Streets, a brutal journey into rape, violence, switchblades and bear traps.

When Brenda (Blair) and her all-girl gang of tough talking chicks, The Satins, refuse to party with a car full of local drug pushers called The Scars, the girls think nothing of it, but they didn't reckon on the bruised ego of Jake and his feral pack of no good thugs. Targeting Brenda's deaf sister, they invade the school and savage her, leaving her on the critical list.

Now Brenda must scour the streets in search of crossbow vengeance in a dangerous B-movie classic that's the perfect antidote to 80s high school flicks.

I mentioned earlier that The Comancheros and The Horse Soldiers were coming to Blu-ray and that I'd ordered one and would likely order the other (once Amazon puts up a listing for it).  Now I've learned 2 more John Wayne westerns are also getting Blu-ray treatment.  All of these are coming out in May.

The two I found out about most recently are Big Jake and Rio Lobo.  Those both came out in the 1970s.  I know I will get Big Jake...it was Duke's last pairing with Maureen O'Hara (their fifth film together, though Miss O'Hara only appears during the first half-hour or so of the film) and Richard Boone makes a good villain.  I'm less certain about Rio Lobo as Howard Hawks used his one western plot (apart from Red River) for the third time in this film and this is the least of his westerns with Duke.  I'll probably get it anyway...especially if it has any decent extras.   The original DVD, which came out years ago, probably has no extras...maybe the trailer, but that would be it.

Once Upon A Time In The West has been announced for end of May. Just thought I throw that in here for you, in case you also enjoy Leone.

I imagine you're talking a Blu-ray release, right?  I already have that in standard DVD.
