It is a good film, but I will admit that it's not for everyone. The visual style alone will turn a lot of people off. I think most of the users of this forum are open-minded enough about film to give it a fair go however.

I was more anxious to get this comment because of Hardcore that was nominated at the 1979 Berlin International Film Festival

What can I say? I love the Hammer's films and this one is unknown to me (without mentionning that I'm sure the remastering job will be impeccable).

Synapse will release in 2011 Twins of Evil and Hands of the Ripper that I plan to get also.

I've only seen a few Hammer movies, but I've liked them.  I think one Dracula set I got earlier this year has some Hammer titles in it.  I have to look.

Wich is better than me since I only own Taste the Blood of Dracula on those four. I like them, but I never think of buying them when I place an order
