What is the difference between Con Air (Extended Cut) and the normal one?

Here is a comparison between the (german) theatrical cut (KF) and the extended cut:

The synopsis basically says that it removes cuts that were made for the R rating (blood and swear words). It extends the movie by 379 seconds.

Here the English translation of the same comparison.

Thanks for that.

But what to do, what to do? Keep my original copy or get the Extended Cut?

I don't think it makes any real difference. If anything, these additions to the Bruckheimer films aren't usually by the director, so I can't help wondering, why were they cut? Enemy of the State is a long favourite of mine and I got that extended version. There was no point. I read up on Crimson Tide extended and saw loads of comments that said it also made no improvement. I couldn't be bothered to upgrade Con Air.

Which is why you should get it. Right now. Then watch it and assure me I was right!  :tease:
