Just thought I'd start the discussion thread right away.

Good thinking.......did you ever thought of becoming moderator on a forum ? :hysterical:

RossRoy

Not really. Especially since I've been one in the past both on forums and chat rooms  :-\

Am I allowed to participate and combine it with my "Cate Blanchett Never Seen Marathon" ?

:yellowcard: Wrong thread! (I'm practicing ;))

I don't see why not honestly. But you know how this community handles rules: The rules don't allow it? Change it!

Achim

Good idea about "missing letters".

However, I have a short trip planned towards the end of the month and while in October I had a bunch of days off work, that's be less likely in November. I'll start the Marathon but doubt I can finish.

It's not about the results, it's about the journey.

27 movies in 30/31 days is a lot, much more than my usual average. I'm really surprised that I will actually make it for October. But I love it! It made me watch movies that have been sitting in my unwatched pile for so long I didn't even remember I had them!  ???  There were some gems (Transformers, The Fountain, Little Children), and some real stinkers (Edmond, Good Night, and Good Luck, 2046), and some surprises (Bloodrayne, Rocky Balboa, Mr. & Mrs Smith). Overall, I really it enjoyed and I am fully looking forward to November's marathon.

Richie, I know I said I'd try and slip Perfume in, but decided against it, the Corpse Bride was more attractive ;)

That is soooo right. That's why I'll start

Well, since I have only one to go in teh Alphabet Marathon, maybe I'll start early, rather than finish late... :bag:

I've put my unwatched Cate Blanchetts in the marathon

Plus Spaced series 1 to participate in Tom's thread also  ;)

Point of order chaps, you missed the extra 'quirk' this month.
There are 28 to watch in November - we need a title ending in a number, AND a title ending with a symbol or punctuation mark

Ditto for me - I was off work at the beginning of October getting over the last bit of glandular fever, so I am not confident about finishing Novembers, but I'll give it a go  :ok:

Hadn't noticed!

Let's go through the collecti.... Never mind, I know what I'll watch!

RRRrrrr!!!

I was going to be a smart-arse and point out the lack of titles ending in a question mark (it's bad luck apparently), but as I was typing I glanced up and noticed "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" on my own shelf...  :bag:

Ooh, good one. That's on my unwatched pile and will probably make it into the Marathon...

Tom

I have updated my list with titles I am planning to watch. Maybe (if there should be time left) I will watch a movie for "!" and for "?".
