[spoiler]I really liked that twist. It was like introducing a new character, but one we already know we like. Now we get to watch her figure it out again. And now we're back to where we should be, with less people knowing Clark's secret. Only Lana and "other heroes" know of his powers now. [/spoiler]

I can understand what you are saying Rick... I really can. But...

[spoiler]I was just so used to her knowing and like I said... before they told Pete I was wishing it would be her. BTW we do still have Pete knowing... or did I forget something? As for Chloe finding out again? Will there be time? I have not heard anything official... but I have a feeling this will be the final season of Smallville. If not... I would imagine there won't be to many more seasons... I mean come on. He is out of school and working at the Daily Planet already.[/spoiler]

I would have just personally preferred that this certain aspect would have played out differently.

Pete's uppercase "Damn Them" pretty much made it clear that anyone who hasn't seen the show up to that point shouldn't read it. But! .. still hard to resist!

Yesterday evening I watched Smallville's episodes 8x06 to 8x10 (the winter break).

I spoilered it since RossRoy is reading here, even though the topic's name is "Season 8".

[spoiler]And even though I knew what was coming in regard to Chloe's forgetting, I found it really sad. Personally I think the years Chloe knew about Clark's secret were the best years Smallville had, especially seasons five and six. And I also like the time in season four where she knew and he didn't knew she knew.

Now this time is most likely over. I don't think that she'll get it again. And that makes me really sad.

One thing though:
I always try to embed myself into a story, I try to watch it "from inside", as if it were real. I try to forget that it's just a TV show. And from that POV I am wondering how Chloe's memory looks like now. All the adventures she's had with Clark, how does she remember them and supress the memories about his abilities.[/spoiler]
