MOVIE / DVD INFO:
Title: Twins
Year: 1988
Director: Ivan Reitman
Rating: PG
Length: 107 Min.
Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85
Audio: English: Dolby Digital Surround , French: Dolby Digital Surround
Subtitles: English

Stars:
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Danny DeVito
Kelly Preston
Chloe Webb
Bonnie Bartlett

Plot:
Superstars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito team up for twice the laughs in this hilarious box-office blockbuster from director Ivan Reitman ("Ghostbusters").

An ambitious genetic experiment takes the wrong turn when two twins--who look nothing alike--are born and then separated. Years later, the unlikely siblings meet: Julius, a highly educated but sheltered giant with a big heart, and Vincent, a pint-sized hustler with an insatiable lust for women and money. With girlfriends in tow and a hitman on their tail, the newfound brothers set off on a wild, cross-country misadventure to find their mother--but end up finding out more about themselves.

My Thoughts:
One of the better (if not the best) Schwarzenegger comedies. Mostly due to the unlikely pairing with Danny DeVito.
This must be the movie besides the Conan and Red Sonja movies in which Schwarzenegger is bare-chested the most Laugh

I like the friendly stabs at each other of Schwarzenegger and Stallone. Here the Rambo poster scene. In Last Action Hero the Stallone as Terminator scene and of course the "Schwarzenegger as President" scene in Demolition Man Smiley

My mum loves Kindergarten Cop and has seen it loads of times. Therefore I've seen it "by proxy" many times as well and quite like it. Why it gets so sneered at I'll never know. It's harmless fun! Twins I find a bit weak, but this has some great lines, especially from his partner... "Not so tough without your car, are you?"  Laugh

Ahnold is my Governator. I still cringe every time he says Callie-for-nee-ah.  Undecided

MOVIE / DVD INFO:
Title: Junior
Year: 1994
Director: Ivan Reitman
Rating: PG-13
Length: 110 Min.
Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85
Audio: English: Dolby Digital 5.1 , French: Dolby Digital Stereo
Subtitles: English

Stars:
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Danny DeVito
Emma Thompson
Frank Langella
Pamela Reed

Plot:
A male doctor (Arnold Schwarzenegger) becomes pregnant after his associate (Danny DeVito) talks him into taking an experimental drug.

Extras:
Featurette
Trailers

My Thoughts:
I only saw this movie once before in the mid-90s on TV. At the time I could not get over of what I think is a stupid idea of a movie.
I would not have bought this movie, if it wasn't part of a cheap movie set. But now I am glad I have seen it again. Although I still think, the idea of Schwarzenegger as a pregnant man is stupid, the movie itself I quite enjoyed this time. Schwarzenegger is surprisingly good portraying a pregnant man. This is probably his best acting performance in a non-action film. Also I thought that Emma Thompson was great as a mousy scientist/love interest. Danny DeVito was good as always.
And again we have 'Skeletor' as the bad guy in a Ivan Reitman movie Laugh (the other one was Dave).

Yes, it is R1. I bought it recently for 13 bucks at dvdpacific.com. And currently the only chance to get all three as anamorphic widescreen as far as I know.
