James has decided to go to The Library

Believe it or not there are no books for James in the library.  ( Actually there are a lot of books.... it is a library after all. Just no "special" books)

Kathy, being the movie lover she is has of course decided go to The Movie Room

She finds the room locked. Fortunately she has earned herself a key. She uses her key to enter the room and once inside she spies a book. Is it a blessing or a curse? If only she knew. As she studies the book trying to figure it out the hair on her neck begins to stand up. It's as though someone is watching her. She looks around the room, stopping to pay close attention to something she sees in the shadows. She decides it is nothing and goes back to concentrating on the book.

A PM has been sent to Kathy to find out what she wants to do.

Eric is feeling a bit weary from carrying around all his keys. He has decided to take a bit of a snooze in The Main Bedroom

Perhaps this round he will get some rest.

Samara, lusting for blood, chose to peek into The Movie Room where she sees Kathy deciding if she is going to open her book. She ducts back into a shadow as Kathy suddenly looks around the room, as if looking for something (or someone). KAthy stares right at her, but eventually turns her attention back to the book she holds in her hand.

Samara creeps out of the shadows.....

PM sent but I won't learn my fate until tomorrow; I have to go and root for the Buffalo Bills!

Hold on to your hats folks. This one's gonna be a tricky one.

Kathy decided to open her book. A decision she may regret (once she gets back from the football game that is  )

The book contained the "Henrietta Curse". This curse has transformed Kathy into Henrietta for two entire turns. Henrietta is an evil ghoul that will help Samara destroy all the other players. Samara is able to control Henrietta so she will designate where she will go and what player to target. Henrietta is also capable of killing the other players, so she will also ask trivia questions.

Kathy is now shown as Henrietta for the this round as well as the next round and is under Samara's control.

Samara is using her new ghoul to attack James, who thought he was safely sitting in the library.

IF James answers this one correctly we will move to the next round where James and Eric will both be attacked by Samara and Henrietta. If James answers incorrectly he will be cut into pieces. I'm not talking about outpatient surgery here either. This isn't something an ice-pack will help. You will be totally torn apart, completely eviscerated. HOWEVER! Even if you do not survive your encounter you still have your Lazarus Blessing that will revive you and send you back to....

wait for it....

yup, you guessed it...

the MAIN HALL! 

Yes folks, once again we may find our favorite late comer starting back at the beginning. Sailor you couldn't have planned this better if you had a crystal ball 

Whether James survives or is killed it is going to be an interesting next round.

Congratulations to Samara for our first kill... it's too bad it won't stick.

James, you being resurrected in the Main Lobby as I type this. Unfortunately for you once you died you lost the skeleton key you had. You are starting in the main hall with nothing.

This round is over. PMs will be sent to James and Eric to see where they want to go to next. Henrietta is still under Samara's control for the next round. Samara has the choice of attacking one person with both herself and Henrietta (asking that one person two questions) or splitting up and asking the two remaining player one question each.

We've had our first kill. James has fallen victim to Samara thanks to a tricky picture from a movie James has never heard of. Fortunately for James he was in possession of the Lazarus Blessing which restarted him back at the beginning.  James, having spent so much time in the Main Hall this game answering the front door he has decided to change his appearance to the most famous horror mansion servant.... Lurch

Perhaps his new persona will help him get through the mansion a bit faster (as long as nobody pulls the rope and rings the gong  )

James has resurrected in the main hall. He had the choice of going to:

The Basement

(he has these choices memorized by now  )

EDIT: With the speed of the internet at our fingertips I have James' answer. He has decided to open the book!

Congratulations James. You have found another...curse . Officially called The Inmovilis Curse, it has frozen James in this place for this round as well as the next round (if he survives this on that is  )

Status: Waiting for someone to come put him out of his misery

Kathy will be sent to wherever Samara says for this round and attack whoever is there. At the end of this round she will wake up in the Movie Room and not know what happened. She will be able to move forward next round.

Eric has only one more battle to win and he will have made it past Samara, giving him the opportunity to escape the mansion, if he can get past the last round that is

He has chosen, The Underwater Cave. He is finding it difficult to swim due to all those Keys he has from defeating Samara, but is managing.
