I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't decide what to watch in all those never seen movies that we all own so I thought the forum could be useful in that regards.
So which one of these would you recommend and why ?
All Quiet on the Western Front
Annie Hall
The Bridges of Madison County
Exodus
The Last Seduction
Scent of a Woman
Sweet November
Zorba The Greek
And yes,
I am
ashamed for never having seen Annie Hall, Scent of a Woman and Zorba the Greek.

Oh, my! I haven't seen any of them! Apart from Scent of a Woman, which is very good, but I wouldn't trip over myself to watch it again.
By reputation, I'd say All Quiet on the Western Front. Bridges is supposed to very good, but it's a chick flick and my bloke-meter refuses to let me watch it.

From that bunch, I guess I'd pick Exodus. Not only it is based on the brilliant, brilliant book by Leon Uris, but it also a cool epic filled with wonderful details about the founding of the state of Israel. Of course it's not as exhaustive as the book (highly recommended) since it mainly covers the escape of Jewish refugees from a detention camp in Cyprus to Palestine., but it's a great film that seems to have been a little forgotten now. It has great cinematography and a terrific Ernest Gold score.
Jon, I think you got your movies mixed up somehow?
All Quiet on the Western Front is a chick flick?
What Bridges?

Oh, my!
I've seen them all but not in quite a while. I usually choose a movie based on my mood or the company I'm with so my chose would depend on that.
All Quiet on the Western Front - I hope you are talking about the original and not the remake. A classic and should be watched.
Annie Hall is one of Woody Allen's better movies IMHO; but then I really like Diane Keaton.
Bridges of Madison is quite good. I actually liked it as well as the book. I would not classify it as a "chick flick" more along the lines of Casablanca. It is very romantic.
All I can remember of Exodus is it was based on a novel of one of my favorite writers - oh and it stars Paul Newman
The Last Seduction is interesting and a bit different - I thought Linda Fiorentino was marvelous. Not a movie to inspire romance.
I remember Scent of a Woman was good but I'd have to rewatch it to recommend it.
Sweet November I don't remember at all. If you watch it, let me know!
Zorba the Greek was great, it still brings a smile to my face!
