Help me find the song.

It's a song that plays on CHOM (Montreal rock station) once in a while.  I don't know who sings it.  It could be from the 60's-70's or maybe it's a recent song in the style of those years. 

The only lyrics I know (I think) is the first sentence which is either "Rafaela is my mother's name" or "Rafaela was my mother's name".

I tried all the lyrics search I could find on google but couldn't find that song.  Maybe I got the first sentence completely wrong.
