???

Vampires. Demons. Curses. Can't be anything but horror. Sometimes it's comedy-horror, but still horror.

Oh I agree with Jon... I definitely consider those horror series! The X-Files are iffy in cases... but can see how at least some would be considered horror.

And looks like I spoke too soon again UPS guy just left... now I have

Total DVD Count: 1,580
Horror DVD Count: 548

For me horror is something that is supposed to be scary. I'd consider something like "Evil Dead" as horror, even though it's trashy.

The things Buffy faced are mostly born out of (popular) mythology, no more scary than let's say Scylla and Charybdis.

For me Buffy and Angel are fantasy series, jsut like Xena.

The only real horror movie I've got in my collection is "It".

Quality is more important than quantity.  I don't mean to say it's the case with the members here but we've all seen compulsive buyers who will buy any crap at 1$ a piece to just get their their numbers bigger.

Buy what you like and your collection will get bigger than you think in no time.

Even this one is not an horror movie if we use your definition, since a child murderer morphing clown is a fantasy too. It leave only the movies about the serial killers : scary and certainly not a fantasy.
