Well, you are almost correct ;) The title is Gods and Monsters. The 'world of gods and monsters' is a reference to Whale's Frankenstein.  :) Highly recommended film, with top acting.

:hmmmm: I'm not sure - I'm trying to play the games without looking things up. I went to an exhibition of Bacon's works recently and that's what made me think of him for this game. I thought he was English, but you may very well be correct.

Hint: Written and directed by John Maybury (source: DVD itself!)

Yup, well, it's actually the same movie, Love is the Devil. But since it has a lot of the actors Derek Jarman uses in his films and Maybury was something of a pupil for him, I always think of it as 'the Jarman film'.  :)
