Searching for good affordable hotel in Manhattan

I'll be going to New York in september, for business.  I'm gonna be there in Manhattan for 11 nights, the place I'm gonna be working at is at the corner of 7th Avenue and 34th street, close to Madison Square Garden.

If anyone knows good affordable hotels in the viscinity I could use a few suggestions.  It has to have internet access in the room.
