Amazon invoices
« on: October 26, 2013, 03:21:58 PM »
Amazon.com's invoices get cuter by the month (literally).

I've gotten used to the half a letter/A4-sized invoices from them but the newest one plays in a whole different little league.

The writing is absolutely miniscule.

The whole page has a dimension of 10.1cm x 6.7cm (4" x 2.6") while the printed area on it is only 6.7cm x 4.1cm (2.6" x 1.6")

The size of the letters use for the item name have a height of 1mm=0.1cm (0.039")  :readthis:

The biggest problem with those "invoices":
They re not indelible and begin to fade after a few months only.
This means a lot of fun for self-employed Amazon-Customers when the fiscal authorities are coming to counter-check your tax declarations.

Maybe make a copy of the invoice when you first get it..or scan it and save it on the computer.

I've gotten invoices that small before at times from them for years now.  Some have been a full page, some half a page, some like that.  Every so often, there isn't even an invoice in the box.   Maybe the size of them depends on where they ship from.
