Trip with the Teacher is great but they used an inferior print.

Despite what you said about the print... I think I will probably give this one a go next.

That is when I found out it is an alternate title for The Blind Dead 3. I know this series has a cult following with a lot of horror fans. While I was a little concerned about starting with the 3rd in the series... my curiosity got the best of me so I thought I would test the series out with this one.
Don't judge the serie by this one, since this is the weakest one of it. If you got the chance to watch the first two don't hesit to do so. Those two are really effective and the Dead Templars are one of the scariest thing I have seen in an horror movie.

Be warned that it isn't an horror film, Personally I think it's a great movie but I'm not sure if it's your genre of film.

Thanks Jimmy... I will be sure to check them out if/when I get the opportunity.

AS for Trip with the Teacher... yeah reading the plot I am pretty sure I know what kind of movie it is. They are usually hit and miss with me. But I am hoping (not expecting.. no expectations here) this one will be good.

Title: Trip with the Teacher
Year: 1975
Director: Earl Barton
Rating: R
Length: 90 Min.
Video: Full Frame 1.33:1
Audio: English: Dolby Digital: Mono
Subtitles: N/A

Stars:
Zalman King
Brenda Fogarty
Robert Porter
Robert Gribbin
Dina Ousley
Jill Voigt

Plot:
A chilling experience in terror as a group of female students and their pretty teacher are ambushed, while on a field trip, by a sadistic killer and his brother, forcing the women to learn a lesson in survival.

Extras:
Scene Access

My Thoughts:
This is another movie that is in the Gorehouse Greats Collection. This time though... I enjoyed the movie. It alone was at least worth the cheap price I paid for the DVD set. Though I did find it to be pretty predictable. I pretty much new from the start who was going to be the hero of the story. I think Zalman King did a really good job as a psycho. He just had that crazy look about him. The last movie I watched in this set (Blood of Dracula's Castle) the quality of the video was terrible. While there was obvious problems with the video here... far from the best it could look... it was definitely an improvement over the other one.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Nice to see you enjoyed it even if it isn't what you watch usually

You're right about Zalman King he gave quite a good acting performance in this (he is also good in Galaxy of Terror but it's a small role). Don't forget to check Terror from this set when you'll reach 1978, I'm sure you will love this one

My vote would totally be The Man Who Fell to Earth - aside from the obvious reason, it's one of my very favorite films.  But even I'll say it's not the film for everybody.  I think it's fabulous, but I have a friend I'd never try to show it to.  I do hope you like it whenever you do get around to watching it, tho, even if it isn't this time.  :)

I have the Criterion DVD and should watch it soon myself, so yes, my vote goes there as well.

Wondering what's the obvious reason could be... :hmmmm:

I sent it to him after I upgraded to blu-ray.  Hence the "obvious" reason.

and our Province is so rich that we don't need the federal to do so ::)
and it was "given" to a rich guy for almost nothing, but he will get almost all the profits ::)

As an ex-Nordiques fan I'm happy to see that real hockey will be back at Québec, but not as much when I've to pay for a guy like Peladeau. Of course that would be funny if Power Corporation or Bell Telecom got the team and decide to build their arena
