A Korean film about a 16/17 year old girl who has spent virtually her whole life in hospital due to a physical deformity, who finally falls in love.
Quite a gentle film that would be quite a good companion to The Notebook or P.S. I Love You. If you're that way inclined then you'd need the tissues at the ready

10,000 BC or 200 Pounds Beauty

Another Korean film, that in all honesty I was expecting to be like Shallow Hal(which I also like), Is about a large girl who is the voice behind the latest pop sensation
who decides to undergo a radical amount of plastic surgery to get the body she has always wanted to win the man she has loved from afar.

Armageddon

This film is Awe-wait for it- some. I don't mind admitting that I get choked up everytime I watch this. And not just for the final line of camembert that William Fichtner says.

Big Wednesday

Citizen Kane

Downfall

Evolution

Falling Down

To me Robert Duvall is the star of this not Michael Douglas, it's his performance that keeps the film grounded although I do empathise with some of sentiments that D-Fens expresses. A good film but there's just something off about it, what that is I can't nail down.

The Good The Bad & The Weird

Hamburger Hill 2

Initial D Drift Racer

Josie and the Pussycats

Kung Fu Hustle

Love, Honour & Obey

The Myth

Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist

Open Range or Outlander

Not a bad western, but not a great one. Yes, it does follow the usual tried and tested routine of someone out for vengeance, and finding someone that gets through the years of emotional barriers that they have built up. This could very easily have been the height of mediocrity if it wasn't for the performance from Duvall, Costner & Benning, Michael Gambon does however let the side down. I would say that a better example of a film that follows a similar path is the far superior Silverado.

Pan's Labyrinth

Quill

Red Cliff

Serenity

You should. I've managed to forgive you for failing to like Open Range, so it'll be interesting!

Maybe in a Bizarro world it is, but not in this world. Silverado is one of the worst, cliche ridden westerns ever made.
