Throughout Sam's life, he always wondered why his mom and dad were so easy on him. Whether it was sports, school, career choices, or picking on his little brother Kyle, Sam always got away with everything. Because of it, he decided to drop out of college and take a dead beat job, wasting most of his time playing video games and wishing he could ask his co-worker Andi out. However, everything changes in Sam's life once he turns 21 and finds out the reason his parents let him get over was because they sold his soul to the devil before he was born.
Satan explains to Sam that he must serve as his bounty hunter, tracking down souls that have escaped from Hell.

(http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6090/6022536583_ed53f3d7b2_m.jpg) Episode: 1. Pilot Air Date: September 25, 2007 Soul Vessel: Dirt Devil Mini-Vac Plot: On his twenty-first birthday, Sam Oliver discovers his parents sold his soul to the Devil before he was born. The Devil comes to collect, enlisting Sam to work as a bounty hunter capturing escaped souls from Hell.
Cast: Bret Harrison as Sam Oliver Tyler Labine as Bert 'Sock' Wysocki Missy Peregrym as Andi Prendergast Rick Gonzalez as Ben Gonzalez Valarie Rae Miller as Josie Donavon Stinson as Ted Andrew Airlie as Mr. Oliver Ray Wise as The Devil Kyle Switzer as Kyle Oliver Allison Hossack as Mrs. Oliver Marci T. House as Motorist Christine Willes as DMV Demon Fraser Aitcheson as Fireman
My Thoughts:
This is a fun start to the series. There is a nice amount of comedy mixed in to make this series a lighthearted... leave=Your-Brains-At-The-Door type of entertainment. Every episode he has to trap the escaped demons in a different every day type item. These items are vessels that hold the demons to be sent back to Hell. He then takes the vessel to... of all places... the DMV. In this episode the vessel (as you can see above) a Dirt Devil Mini-Vac. And the demon he has to go after is a fire-starting demon.

Charged Air Date: October 2, 2007 Soul Vessel: Remote Control Car Plot: Sam gets further entrenched in his bounty hunter's duties when a series of painful, static electric shocks leads him to his next escaped soul, a corrupt business tycoon with the power to manipulate electricity to deadly effect.
Cast: Bret Harrison as Sam Oliver Tyler Labine as Bert 'Sock' Wysocki Rick Gonzalez as Ben Gonzalez Missy Peregrym as Andi Prendergast Ray Wise as The Devil Andrew Airlie as Mr. Oliver Valarie Rae Miller as Josie Donavon Stinson as Ted Kyle Switzer as Kyle Oliver Allison Hossack as Mrs. Oliver Mark Rolston as Arthur Ferrey Christine Willes as DMV Demon Tricia Collins as Blackberry Girl Steve Makaj as Engineer Jennifer Paterson as Nurse
My Thoughts:
This is a good... solid episode. Though I didn't feel it was quite as good as the pilot episode. It was interesting to see how Sam would react to a broken vessel... a storyline I would expect to see sooner or later. But I am a bit surprised it came up in the second episode. The storyline of the demon that escaped wasn't as good as the one in the pilot either.

My Thoughts:
This story impressed me even less then the one before it. Only 3 episodes in and I am starting to get discouraged. Maybe this show wasn't quite as good as I remember it being. Don't get me wrong... I still enjoyed the episode. But the series seems to be going slightly downhill with each episode. Hopefully it picks back up soon.

My Thoughts:
This one is more like it. I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Definitely the best episode since the pilot. I am starting to enjoy the side storyline between Sam and Andi. I can't remember if he lets her into the secret that he is a bounty hunter for the devil.... but for some reason I am thinking she eventually finds out. If so... I can't remember how or when she finds out.
