With Halloween being my all-time favorite holiday... I like to celebrate it all month long. So every year at this time I have a month long horror / Halloween marathon. I normally set a goal for myself... but I just can't do that this year... as i have so much to do at this time. But I do still plan on watching both horror movies as well as horror and Halloween themed TV Show episodes.
I just hope I get a chance to watch a nice selection!

Stars: Kay Lenz as Sarah Shelley Winters as Mrs. Erica Hunter Tony Bill as Paul Yates Kathryn Grant as Mrs. Goodwin Morgan Fairchild as Jennifer Lawrence Morgan Brittany as Patty Goodwin
Plot: Sarah's (Kay Lenz) a shy co-ed with a shocking secret. While her outgoing sister (Morgan Brittany) easily gains entry into the most popular sorority, Sarah is cruelly rejected, soon finding a place for herself in one of the college's more bizarre sororities. When the facts are revealed about Sarah's frightening gifts, she must use her own dark powers to save herself.
My Thoughts:
This is a TV Movie from 1978 that I found early this morning on On-Demand to start off my yearly Month Long Horror Marathon. I have found that I really enjoy the TV Movies from the '70s... and have several in my DVD collection. This one is obviously a rip off of Carrie... only instead of set at a high school prom it is set in a college sorority during Hell Week. I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Would love to add it to my collection... but unfortunately this one was never released on DVD (though the remake with Summer Glau was). Though I do hope to eventually add it (as well as the remake) to my collection eventually.
While this is an obvious rip-off of Carrie (girl with psychic and telekinetic powers)... they did change it up a little... and I am not just talking about the change from high school to college. But they also added the Shelley Winters character who plays the house mother for Sarah's sorority who also happens to be a witch. Anyway... this is one I definitely recommend. Especially if you are like me and enjoy the older TV Movies.

Roseanne: Halloween Edtion Most TV shows celebrate the holiday season with warm & fuzzy Christmas specials. But for the cast, crew and creators of ROSEANNE, the year's best celebrations always belonged to Halloween. In these seven classic episodes, the Conners unleash tricks and treats on one of the greatest sitcoms In television history:
BOO! - In this Emmy®-nominated fan favorite, the Conners kick off a family tradition with a night of increasingly outrageous pranks.
TRICK OR TREAT - When Roseanne wears a lumberjack costume, she learns a few hilarious lessons about 'real' men.
TRICK ME UP, TRICK ME DOWN - Jackie flirts with a moose, Roseanne pranks the new neighbors and George Clooney guest stars.
HALLOWEEN IV - Having lost her holiday spirit, Roseanne is visited by the ghosts of Halloween past, present and future.
HALLOWEEN V - It’s Halloween night at the diner, but the real shocks are about to come from some very unexpected places.
SKELETON IN THE CLOSET - A Halloween party at The Lunch Box brings out Leon’s gay friends as well as Bev’s hair-raising secret.
HALLOWEEN: THE FINAL CHAPTER - Ed McMahon and Sarah Chalke guest star when Roseanne’s ouija board delivers the most unexpected news of all.
Stars: Roseanne as Roseanne Conner John Goodman as Dan Conner Laurie Metcalf as Jackie Harris Michael Fishman as D.J. Conner Sara Gilbert as Darlene Conner
My Thoughts:
It is strange... some reason this has every Halloween episode except one on it. The only one missing is where they did the whole Rosemary's Baby thing concerning Darlene's baby. I believe that was the last season. Maybe Roseanne was still airing when this disc was released? Anyway this is a very good disc. I like having a lot of the Halloween episodes all in one place. I always liked this series and the Halloween episodes were always my favorite of the series. You can tell they really had a lot of fun making these episodes. Highly Recommended!

I got this DVD 6 years ago mainly because it stars Kaley Cuoco (Penny on The Big Bang Theory)... and I enjoyed this film so much that I have watched it every year for my October marathon since getting it! Well to be fair... I always enjoyed the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. And the fact that it has someone I know from weekly TV series is always a bonus. In this particular film the movie takes place in present day... which is nice change of pace for the story (well we do have the TV Series now.. but...). Recommended!

My Thoughts:
I originally heard of the Ginger Snaps movies when a good friend of mine started raving about them to me. I told her I couldn't wait to check them out and the next thing I knew she had given me all three of them for my birthday that year. It is one of those independent movies that you go into it not expecting too much but then you are pretty much blown away by it. Sure... some of the effects aren't as great as they could be if this movie had the budget of a blockbuster movie... but it looks like they did a very good job with what they had. It looks like they used the bulk of the effects budget for the end of the movie... using effects sparingly until then... which really seemed to work well for them. This movie also don't follow all the rules of Werewolves that Hollywood put into place. Of course there is nothing wrong with that. There is one downside... that is the portrayal of the sisters mother played by Mimi Rogers. Which is surprising to me as I normally like her in the things I have seen her in. But this time... not so much. But it could have been more the character then her performance. As she seemed more annoying then anything. But over-all this is a very good movie. Definitely recommend checking it out.

The Middle Earth Paradigm Leonard discovers "hobbit" is the wrong costume to wear to Penny's Halloween party when her ex-boyfriend shows up. Also, Sheldon is not a zebra.
The Good Guy Fluctuation Scares are everywhere as Leonard admits to Priya that he's attracted to someone else, and Sheldon pulls a slew of Halloween pranks on his friends.
The Holographic Excitation The gang celebrates Halloween at Stuart’s comic book store. Meanwhile, Leonard seduces Penny with science.
My Thoughts:
I just finished watching all three Halloween episodes of The Big Bang Theory. I thought they were all a lot of fun. It is really hard to pick a favorite out of the three. But if I had to... I would probably go with the first one. It is a shame that there isn't more Halloween episodes for this series.

I felt like watching something that is just plain fun next. So I pulled out The Monster Squad. This one is an old favorite of mine. Always good for a few laughs... the lines "the Wolfman has nards!" and "Well Steve... but he doesn't count!" gets me laughing every time I watch this movie. I like how they have most all the classic monsters in this movie. They made the story fun and interesting at the same time. This movie would make a good introduction for kids that are curios about horror movies. If by chance you never seen this movie I would definitely recommend it to all.

I caught Ginger Snaps by chance on TV one night and was blown away. It's an awesome film, which makes us realize very slowly that we are actually watching a werewolf flick (it could almost be considered a spoiler to say that...?). It's obviously a story about puberty, just that we are used to see this kind of films with boys, not girls.
I have never seen the sequels, are they worth seeking out? I wish there'd be a Blu-ray, so now I am not sure if I should wait or go for the DVD :hmmmm:

Yes they are. It's one of the rare case where the three films in a trilogy are as good.
One advice, go for the french canadian releases as they are loaded with extras (I could even suggest to you to douple dip of the first one, but the special edition is costly). Don't worry they are english friendly, but there is no english subtitles or captions.
Ginger Snaps 1 (http://www.amazon.ca/Ginger-Snaps-Collectors-Edition-Perkins/dp/B0000700KP/ref=tag_dpp_lp_edpp_ttl_in), 2 (http://www.amazon.ca/Ginger-Snaps-Unleashed-D%C3%A9cha%C3%AEn%C3%A9es-Bilingual/dp/B0001HLTU2/ref=pd_bxgy_d_img_b) and 3. (http://www.amazon.ca/Ginger-Snaps-Beginning-Soeurs-Bilingual/dp/B0002S9QT6/ref=pd_bxgy_d_img_c)
I highly doubt they will be release on blu-ray soon, Lion's Gate own them and they don't really care about their movie catalogue.

There is a release for the Trilogy available on Amazon UK, which is apparently cheaper (£13.99) than if I get even just 2 and 3 from Canada. It says Special 3-Disc Collector's Edition on the cover and according the rating logo it's not a UK release (maybe Ireland, maybe somewhere else). Here's a link (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ginger-Snaps-Trilogy-Box-UNCUT/dp/B006HSHJIA/ref=sr_1_2?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1380860406&).
EDIT: According DVD profiler it's a Dutch release...?

The price is lower but you'll miss all the extras. This a comparaison between the canadian and dutch version (http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=9740).

But the Canadian Trilogy Box seems unavailable...? At least it's not on Amazon.ca...?
There are several versions for at least the first film a single discs. Does an of those, other than the one for $99, have those extras?

For the second and third part, I think the one I've link had all the extras (the one I have for Ginger Snaps 2 had a different cover). For the first one I think only the collector's edition (http://www.amazon.ca/Ginger-Snaps-Collectors-Edition-Perkins/dp/B0000700KP/ref=tag_dpp_lp_edpp_ttl_in) countains all the extras (check on DVDP maybe that will help you).
Amazon Marketplace had it cheaper (http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0000700KP/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&condition=all), but you'll need someone from the US to order it for you to get one of the less costly option. If I were you I would contact the 10$ seller to be sure it's really the collector's edition he sell at that price.

Those are the three I had put into my Shopping Cart, waiting for your reply. I found they seem to have those extras.
The sad news: None of the market place sellers ship to Taiwan :( Turned out, ONE of them ships to Germany (unfortunately the one saying Condition: Very Good rather than Like New), so I'll do that and bring it back here next time I visit my parents (some time later this year, probably).
Order issued :)

I just edit my post, but I guess I'm a little bit too late as your order is done... Anyway, unless the 10$ one is really the CE I'm not sure the US is the way to go (the canadian $ worth less than the US $).
Title: Re: Addicted2DVD's Month Long Horror/Halloween Marathon
Post by: Achim on October 04, 2013, 08:14:25 AM
I trusted the cover image, it should be the CE. According to DVDP there is two version with different UPC but same cover, which both have the special features. That would explain why there are two listings at Amazon. I'll keep y fingers crossed.
As I said, (only) one of the sellers ships to Germany, so that worked out. (I saw the barebones version from the US somewhere for $6, so that would clearly be cheaper.)
Thanks for your help!
Thanks to Pete, too, for letting us hijack his thread for a while.

I won't say I enjoyed this one as much as the first one... but it was close. I still definitely enjoyed this one. It of course takes place after... and is a good continuation of the first one. But this time it centers around Bridget more then Ginger. Though you do see and hear from her throughout the movie. I liked the character of the younger girl who is nicknamed Ghost. I also liked the ending of this movie. It was both interesting and unexpected.

I recently re-watched season 1 on my trip to Virginia... so thought I would go on to season 2 (just wish I had season 3 to re-watch before the 4th starts). I really enjoyed all these episodes. They do a good job continuing from the first season. I like the season long storyline of them getting together with the survivors on the farm. The first 4 episodes deals with a lot... and I am loving every second of it. But I would have liked to seen a bit more zombie action. Though I would probably say that no matter how much they put in there.

4.05: Haunt You Every Day It's Halloween at Seattle Grace and the day is chock-full of surprises for the doctors. Alex has a surprise visit from a former patient; Meredith thinks her mother's ashes are haunting her; Cristina is snubbed by a top surgeon; and everyone is shocked when Callie reveals George and Izzie's relationship to the public.
My Thoughts:
This is one of my all-time favorite medical dramas. And this Halloween based episode was a lot of fun! I especially liked the storyline of the little boy needing plastic surgery to form some ears... going trick or treating for ears in the hospital... trying to get the operation for free. This is another episode I could see myself watching again before the month is over!

I went into this one without even seeing a trailer for the film. Unfortunately the reviews I have read on it has been less then stellar. More then one going as far as saying it is the worst piece of work to come from Wes Craven. So needless to say I went into this one with low expectations. Though going in with the low expectations really didn't help much. While the film has it's moments here and there.. I really didn't think too much of this one. I found I really didn't care much for the characters... and the storyline just didn't keep my interest. I found myself doing other things while the movie played in the background.

I went into this one without even seeing a trailer for the film.
The trailer wasn't that bad, in fact I was almost tempted to go watch it in the theatre when it was released here. But I changed my mind really fast after reading the first comments from my friends about the film.
Stars: Jeffrey Combs as Herbert West Bruce Abbott as Dan Cain Barbara Crampton as Megan Halsey David Gale as Dr. Carl Hill Robert Sampson as Dean Halsey Gerry Black as Mace
Plot: This is Re-Animator as we have been waiting to see it. The technical quality of the picture and sound has never been better, making this the definitive state-of-the-art version of this blood drenched horror classic. We have kept the original commentary tracks, but added gobs of other material, including on-camera interviews with the writer, director, producer, composer and others. Credit Elite Entertainment and their producer, Jack F. Murphy, for investing so much time and money, and for taking such care with all the little details that go into creating a first rate product.
Re-Animator is a very special movie to me and many others involved in its production, and it is gratifying to have it presented in such an excellent way. For horror fans this edition preserves what we love about Re-Animator in all its sturm and drang and gory glory, and for cinema buffs is it just a great genre movie in a great DVD package. If it has been a while since you have seen Re-Animator, this is a good time to re-view it, and if you have never seen it before, this is your opportunity to see what the excitement is all about.
So take this one home and enjoy!

Now this is more like it! Nothing better then a good '80s horror! A true classic in the genre. I remember watching... and enjoying this film as a teen. Though I will admit i was concerned whether or not it would hold up for me. But it more then held up.. it was better then I remember it being. The entire cast was great... though the stand-out performance was from Jeffrey Combs. This is one I have no problem recommending.

My Thoughts:
This is like my third time seeing this film. The original is one of my favorite vampire movies... and this remake is pretty good. I enjoyed it. They leave enough of it the same to pay homage to the original... while changing it enough to make it it's own film. I think Collin Ferrell did a good job of portraying Jerry (the vampire). The one playing Charlie looked familiar but I just couldn't place him. Turns out he played Chekov in Star Trek. The one thing I didn't care for is how they re-did Peter Vincent... making him a Criss Angel wannabe. That character just bugged me in this one. Over-all a decent remake. It is one I would recommend.

I decided to go for a little Comedy Horror next. This is one I enjoy watching every now and then. Granted the film isn't as good as the TV Series... as I much prefer the TV Series. But I must say that I just find this film to be good for what it is... a fun, silly, cheesy film. So yes people... you can enjoy both the film and the TV Series. It's funny because I really can't explain what it is I like about this one and why I keep coming back to it. I will say I liked Donald Sutherland in this film... but then I have been a fan of his for years. Anyway... I think if you can look at this for what it is you will enjoy it.

I figured I would go ahead and watch the other disc in the set. Obviously this is a motion comic taken over where the series left off. It is a fun set to check out. Interesting to think at least some of this is what Joss Whedon had planned for an 8th season. Definitely worth checking out if you were a fan of the series.

My Thoughts:
I got this one mainly because I like Charisma Carpenter. The movie is better then I was expecting it to be. Sure some of the effects were cheesy... and there was some predictable stuff in it. But I definitely enjoyed it. Charisma Carpenter plays a psychic that joins one of those shows where they go off investigating supposedly haunted houses called Sinister Sites. On her very first episode they end up in the "real thing". While it may not be the best haunted house movie I ever seen... I am glad I added it to my collection. It's worth the time put into it to watch it.

My Thoughts:
Decided to watch this one today because I felt like something lighthearted and silly... plus I haven't seen it in years, as I just got the disc yesterday. And this film definitely fits the bill as silly fun. A lot of films based on old TV Series tends to just disappoint. But I think this one did a good job. It does a decent job at staying true to the series. And just plain fun to watch. While the cast all seemed to do a pretty good job... for me the stand-outs were Christopher Lloyd as Fester and Christina Ricci as Wednesday. Anyway... think it is worth checking out if you liked the series.

You may remember I watched this one just a few months back. But this is one of my favorite classic '80s horror films. This is one I can see watching every year for my October horror marathon. I so enjoyed watching this film again! The characters are a lot of fun. Story keeps your interest from beginning to end. And the make-up effects are good too. And what I like about this blu-ray release... it has both the director's cut ending as well as the theatrical release ending... which kept the ending open to a possible sequel. My Thoughts:
When I saw so many good reviews for this one I knew I had to check it out. Though I did have reservations going into it. First it stars Brad Pitt and I never been much of a fan of his. Also my brother didn't care for it... and we do have similar tastes at times. Thankfully this is one time I didn't agree with him. Surprising I even enjoyed Brad Pitt in this one. I also like how they handled the fast zombies vs. slow zombies in this one. And finally I like how they handled the ending of the film. They obviously was trying hard to get the PG-13 rating. The one complaint I have here is there is extremely little... if any type of gore here. It seemed like they didn't even want to show much any blood. And that seems kinda weird when thinking of a zombie movie. But over all... I liked this one very much.... definitely recommended.

I believe the unrated version has a little more gore; it was cut out originally as they wanted the PG-13 to optimize takes at the box-office.
The film has many flaws, but I went with it when I watched it and had quite a lot of fun with it. just don't start to think abut some of those details...

This is one of the first Anthology movies I ever seen... and one of my favorites. In my opinion a real horror classic! I loved how the cat in the beginning of the movie is shown running past other Stephen King greats... like.. seeing the cat getting scared by Cujo coming out from behind a fence and almost getting run over by Christine. At one point they also show a couple of the characters watching The Dead Zone on TV. This Anthology had 3 stories to it... and in this case I really enjoyed all 3 of them. I definitely recommend this one.

My Thoughts:
This is a TV movie from back in the '70s. Remembering back to when I worked at our local video store... this movie was in great demand. Unfortunately at the time I never got to see it myself as the store's copy disappeared and none of our distributors at the time could locate a new copy for us (this is back in the VHS days). So the first time I got to see this movie was when I first got it on DVD back in 2007. And I must say I enjoyed it very much!
The first story,Julie, Karen Black plays a College Professor who gets seduced and blackmailed (as the cover says). I liked how the student didn't have as much control over things as he thought he did. An enjoyable segment... but not my favorite.
The next story is Millicent and Therese where we have some sibling rivalry. This one, while I still enjoyed it, it wasn't as good as the first one. So this one has to be my least favorite segment of the movie.
The final story, Amelia, a woman falls prey to a murderous Zuni Fetish Doll. This is my favorite segment of the entire movie. It was very well done... especially for the time. And I just couldn't help but to get a kick out of that Zuni Fetish Doll. And as much as I liked that little guy... I must say the final scene is really what clinched this segment for me.
The DVD itself While good I am a little disappointed. The audio and video is just fine. But I have a bit of a hard time with them calling this a special edition. All there is... is 2 featurettes and a commentary track. That seems to me a little slim to be calling it a special edition. But with that all said... I really enjoyed watching this movie again.

1.03: Halloween Show Infuriated over an interview where Paul mocks witchcraft, Cassandra, an all-powerful sorceress, sends a mischivious eight-year-old "Hit Witch" to exact her revenge.
My Thoughts:
This is a fun episode to the (apparently) little known Bewitched spin-off series. In this series Lisa Hartman plays a grown-up Tabitha Stephens. The show does a pretty good job at updating the series. Unfortunately the show only lasted 12 episodes before it was canceled. One thing that I do believe they changed from Bewitched... they made Tabitha's brother Adam mortal. If I remember right in Bewitched he did have powers too. But maybe my memory is off on that.

I decided to pop this one in today. Been years since I seen it. It is a fun continuation... I did enjoy it. But not quite as much as I did the first part. In this one Carol Kane took over the role of Granny... which was cool... I liked her in the role. This is worth watching if you liked the first one.

Ritual is apparently a remake/retelling of "I Walked With A Zombie" (by Jacques Tourneur) from 1943; hence the credit for Curt Siodimak. That does make me want to go and seek it out. I also wasn't aware of this third Tales from he Crypt film. I really liked the the first one, although the second one lacked quite substantially...
It's really cheap at Amazon, so I might complete the "trilogy" at some point. :hmmmm:

The urge hit me and I found myself watching the first season. Well it has been about a year since I last watched the series. I don't know if I will watch the entire series again.. but I do still have the urge to watch so will at least start season 2. This first season... albeit short... contains a lot of very good episodes. The first season easily hooks you and keeps you wanting more. Definitely a series i recommend... if you somehow have never seen it.

My Thoughts:
While I like this series.. I don't think it is nearly as good as Tim Allen's first series... Home Improvement. This is especially true when it comes to the Halloween episodes. When I watched last night's episode... it was entertaining enough... but I couldn't help but to think how much better the Halloween episodes were on Home Improvement. So over-all I would say this one was at best a good episode.

Last night I finished the second season. This is probably my favorite season of the series. Really like what they did for this season's big bad. Plus this is the season where they introduce a few good characters. We get to meet Spike and Drusilla. And I could be wrong... but if I am not mistaken this is the first time we see Oz as well. At least I don't remember seeing him in any of the season 1 episodes.

Stars: Gage Clarke as Tasker Jesse White as Emory Joan Croyden as Miss Fern William Hopper as Kenneth Penmark Paul Fix as Richard Bravo Henry Jones as LeRoy
Plot: Rhoda Penmark (Patty McCormack) is a well-mannered 8-year-old little lady – and an efficient, unfeeling killer. And in this spellbinding chronicle of evil, whatever Rhoda wants, she ruthlessly gets. Her mother Christine (Nancy Kelly), reluctantly made to see her offspring's moral blindness at work, is heartrendingly torn between the love for the child she bore and grief for Rhoda's victims.
From Maxwell Anderson's stage hit, The Bad Seed ticks like a time bomb under the skillful direction of Mervyn LeRoy, who cast several Broadway production originals, including Kelly (recreating the role that won her a Tony), McCormack and Eileen Heckart. Their harrowing performances captured three of this suspenseful movie's four Academy Award® nominations* – and make this thriller one of the great ones.
*1956 Nominations: Best Actress (Kelly), Supporting Actress (Heckart and McCormack) and B&W Cinematography.

I never seen this one before today. It is one that was recently recommended to me... and one a friend was kind enough to send me a copy of. I found this to be a very good film. Though it is one that starts off a bit on the slow side... but it don't take long to pull you into the story. Once it does it easily keeps your attention to the very end. This is definitely a classic that is worth watching.

Join Harry Smith of CBS's The Early Show as he leads this 3,000-year expedition through the history of the characteristically pagan holiday of Halloween. Discover how the "trick-or-treat" custom originated during the harvest festivals in ancient Ireland when food and sweets were used to coax the dead into remaining in the spirit world. I just finished watching the third season now. This one... while I enjoyed every moment of... isn't what I would call a favorite season. I didn't care much for the big bad for this season. But I did like how they said goodbye to High School life. This season introduces 2 more characters... first we have Faith... the newest slayer. And then we have Anya... the demon turned normal teenage girl. Not surprised... but I found myself hooked on this series again. Seems I will be starting season 4 here shortly.

This is a film that the Chiller Channel put out. While I have seen better.... I found this one to be worth the time put in to watch it. Kind of like a horror version of Goonies. This is one that was recently given to me... just got it yesterday. It is one I never seen before. Reading other's reviews is seems this one is pretty much evenly divided between those that like it and those that don't. As I normally do... before watching the film I watched the trailer. Going by the trailer it looked like it had potential. After watching it I can say while I did enjoy it... I think it should have been better. Going by the trailer alone I would have expected more from it. Going by the reviews I have read I am not surprised. But over-all I would say this one is worth the time put in to watch it.

My Thoughts:
I am now done season 4. While not as good as season 2... I did enjoy this season. The fourth season introduces us to two more major characters. One being Buffy's new boyfriend Riley... and the other being Willow's girlfriend Tara. The last time I watched the entire series was just about a year ago... so it is not surprising how I have gotten into watching the episodes again. I mostly like this season for the season long story arc... but there is a couple episodes that stood out for me. The one standing out the most is the excellent episode Hush. There is one odd thing about this season. And that is the final episode.... Restless. It is a very strange episode where we see the dreams of the group. I still can make heads or tails out of most the stuff that happens in that episode.

My Thoughts:
I always loved anthology horrors. While it is technically an anthology horror... it isn't the way I know anthologies at least. Instead of having 3 or 4 separate short stories along with a wraparound storyline... this one is done more like a regular movie with all the stories intertwined with each other. While not bad... I prefer the traditional format of an anthology. Now with that said... I did enjoy all the stories in it... even though I did have some of the stories figured out ahead of time. I liked the one with the girls finding dates. That storyline has Anna Paquin in it... who I find adorable. I have enjoyed her since I first saw her as Sookie in True Blood. I normally don't go for blondes... but in the case of Anna Paquin I think she looks better as a blonde. Over all I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I recently finished off the 5th season. With only two more seasons to go I see no sense in not completing the series. This is a season I enjoyed quite a bit. And is the season we are introduced to Buffy's little sister Dawn. I enjoyed most the episodes... but the stand-out episode of the season has to be "The Body"... a very powerful and dramatic episode.

Why is it that when watching the complete series of a show like this I just can't skip an episode I really do not like? It is like I feel like I am cheating or something. ::)

My Thoughts:
This morning I watched this year's news addition to the Good Witch franchise. This is film number 6 and I am enjoying them just as much now as I did when I originally saw the first one. This series of films has become one of my favorite things about the Halloween season. One I hope to continue for years to come... though with the way this one played out I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last in the franchise. If you like family films with a touch of fantasy... I recommend checking out the entire Good Witch franchise.

My Thoughts:
While over-all I enjoyed this season... I never cared much for the Trio of nerds that caused Buffy so much trouble. But the last few episodes made up for that. This season also contains my least favorite episode ever... Once More with Feeling. I am not a music fan and hate musicals. I did enjoy the episode Normal Again... I have seen the storyline in several fantasy style series... where they make Buffy believe she is a normal girl in an asylum...that vampires and demons and The Slayer is all in her mind. With this season watched... only one more season to go.
