Title: Looking for Flash Expert
Post by: Touti on April 27, 2007, 09:03:23 PM
Do we have a Flash Expert on the forum ?  My friend is new to it and he has a problem with the banner.  He managed to make it run continuously but we would like to make look like an endless loop so people would not see it restart.

I'm not sure I understand the explanation, I'd have to check in his .fla file but I don't have flash on my machine.  He says he duplicated my clip, put the new one right beside it and made it scroll at the same speed.  The trick if I understand it is to overlap the beginning of the 2nd clip with the end of the first one and make the whole thing run continuously.

Actually you know, that sounds just about right..., but I can not be certain as I do not know Flash.

Yes, if they all look like that one I'd like to install it.  Do you know where I can get the pack ?

There's no problem :)

I try to build a quick sketch to explain how to do. You can find it here >> http://www.webspirits.be/transferts/ftp/Explain.jpg (http://www.webspirits.be/transferts/ftp/Explain.jpg)

I see, as soon as clip1 finishes you force it to restart.  Clip2 never plays completely, it's only there "fill up" the screen until clip1 finishes and is ready to restart.

Clever !
