As you all know... I was very late to the Blu-ray party. But also while I only had Blu-ray for less then a year, I have definitely been working on my collection. As of last night I have 90 releases on Blu-ray...

VERY rough numbers, but better than trying to list titles for me. If I filter just by blu-ray, I get 1085 profiles, but these numbers don't add up to that, so...

It was tried before ... Spider-Man 3 had an overkill of villains and completely messed this up. I suppose the relaunch hast to be faster.

OK... this is bad. It shows me just how addicted I am. I got paid today... and what do I do? I go to 2 different used video stores in town and come out with enough to meet my goal! Yeah... that is right... came out with 6 new blu-ray discs. :bag:

I have some concerns about all the villains in the new Spider-Man movie too. You would have thought that Sony would have learned from the mess they made of Spider-Man 3. Guess not. They are trying to build up to something else I guess. I've read something about a Sinister Six movie ...maybe they are trying to ramp up to that. But too many villains in one movie doesn't work. It just crams in too much with no development.
That being said, I'm probably going to see it tomorrow. :laugh:

Out of curiosity... I counted all my Blu-ray to see how close to the 200 I have come. See if I could restart this thread or not. Not quite ready to do that yet... though I did already make it to 143 blu-ray releases! ;D

43 more in less than 2 months is still pretty impressive.
Ok I just looked in Profiler. According to it, I have 169 - well that is going to be off by a few...I got some yesterday that I haven't added yet. So like 174 or so. And I have been getting Blu-rays for 4 years. Almost 5 since I got the first one, which was free from Disney movie rewards for my birthday one year. At the rate you are going, you'll pass by me before long.

I did get a new one today too. Also, after I posted about this before, I noticed that some of my Blu-rays weren't showing up when I sorted for blu-ray in format. It seemed to be a lot of the combo pack ones weren't showing ... like Veronica Mars, Grudge Match..
Ok..I just did the sort thing again. Now it says 303. What the heck? Maybe I am losing my mind. :laugh: No idea what it was doing yesterday. Anyway, I should be up to about 309 now once I add the last few.

When I look at the above list the things that come to mind are... 1. I am happy to see it is a pretty diverse selection of title. It is a little taste of many types of movies. :) 2. I see I have all letters of the alphabet covered except for: O, Q, U & Y... Any suggestions of what I should get to cover these titles? 3. How long before I hit the new goal of 200?

The only one I can think of for Q is Quantum of Solace. Hmm...and Quick Change..if that is out on Blu that is. O...hmmmm. The Others? U....one of the Underworld movies. Y...ummm. Young Frankenstein.

Found it super cheap at Big Lots... like $3. And didn't know anything about the movie other then it was first a comic. Thought for the price I would give it shot.

This gives me the letter Q... I now have all letters of the alphabet covered except for: O, U & Y
This is quite surprising to find in your collection.
The film (even though based on an Anne Rice story too) is nowhere near the quality of "Interview with the Vampire". It has a great score though (which makes up for the bad script), but I suppose that this wouldn't be a plus for you.

Never Been Kissed is an upgrade... I never seen Ever After. Big Drew Barrymore fan.. will I be disappointed? BTW the profile for this one is in terrible shape! And I don't have a bd rom to do it right! ugh! I hate that!
This is it... I now have a blu-ray release for every letter in the alphabet. Danae Cassandra was nice enough to bring home a title for the last letter from work today. I never even seen the trailer for this film... any good?

I thought Unstoppable was OK. Not exceptional, but fine enough when your in the mood for some action.

exception to the rule? :P Actually not good... but I can tolerate them.
Ok...just had to ask. And that is pretty much how I feel about them too. I can tolerate them, but they are far from good. And splitting the last book into 2 movies...that was a mistake. There was not enough there for 2 movies.
I've seen Unstoppable. It is decent. Not great...but not horrible. Better than Twilight. ;)
