Title: Marathon idea?

Could someone enlighten me to exactly what these marathon ideas are that you guys are doing? Just watching a certain number of movies per month with the same theme or what?

Basically that's it, yes. At the begin of the year we had an unwatched marathon (http://www.dvdcollectorsonline.com/index.php/topic,639.0.html) where everyone watched unwatched stuff.

Then there are time travel marathons, horror marathons and of course series marathons.

Marathons are a way to encourage us to actually watch our DVDs!

I'm not as good as the others but I tend to watch a few more if we are having a marathon. The best part, for me, is that I get to read reviews on movies that quite often I haven't seen. Of course that means I end up putting them on my wish list or ordering them! :laugh:
