Title : 800 Fantasy Lane (1979)

Overview
A couple of sex-starved buddies hit on a way to get chicks without all the effort of dating, nightclubs, or little black books in this raunchy romp. Jamie Gillis and Bud Wise play the good time guys, who own a gas station but dream of seeing their names up in lights. One day, while reading the Hollywood press, they spy an article about a new real estate company that provides sexy young realtors for their wealthy clientele. The guys see their opportunity and remake themselves as bogus film producers looking for new digs. They call up the agency and before they know what's hit them, a bevy of buxom young beauties are showing them around some of L.A's most fabulous pads. The flick soon segues into a series of fantasy scenes involving our heroes and their various vivacious vixens. One scintillating scenario finds our men confronted with five women and a sunken hot tub, while another sees one of the guys playing circus trainer to a cage full of naked, writhing wenches. The fantasy fun builds to an explosive finale that leaves both guys satisfied. You will be too, for this is one erotic address that every porn fan will want to circle on the map.

My Impression
Fun little movie, even if the story isn't the most complicated ever made. Jamie Gillies as usual give again a good acting performance (good since he is the only guy in this with Sam Grady) and the movie had a good woman cast also with Hillary Summers (before her big break with the great The Budding of Brie), Desiree Cousteau (not as good as she was in Pretty Peaches because she doesn't really had an important role), Lisa De Leeuw (a great looking redhead who can act), Aubrey Nichols (great blond actress with a very short career), Serena (always reliable for the roughest stuff),...

Some of the scenes are memorable like the dungeon scene who is played for real (not a surprise since Gillies and Serena were a couple in real life) and the circus trainer scene with full body make-up feline painting (as you can see on the cover) who is an high point in the eighties adult movie eroticism. Of course the cinematography by Garry Graver is perfect, but this isn't a surprise since he is a veteran from the seventies (he had worked with Orson Wells).

My problem with the version I own is that it isn't the complete one who is hard to find. A fisting scene is missing between Serena and Desiree Cousteau in the beginning, the scene is always there but all the fisting action is absent. Of course the movie is perfectly watchable without but I would prefer a composite version like Candy Stripers, Wild Things or The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann.

Title : Autobiography of a Flea (1976)

Overview
A flea, who inhabits the privates of a young girl, narrates the erotic adventures of his budding young virgin hostess. These gorgeous virgins are taught the Golden Rules of Sex by a group of lascivious priests who turn them into sex machines. Based on a 17th century classic of erotic literature this 1976 stunner is a sexual tour-de-force guaranteed to heat up more than the history books!

My Impression
Average production from the Mitchell Brothers, but I ain't the biggest fan of their film (except for the first half of Resurection of Eve no movie of them had impressed me yet). Sure the movie had two great men lead with Paul Thomas and John Leslie (John Holmes is in this also, but he isn't that much of an actor), but Jean Jennings the woman lead can't act (sure she's good and young looking but it isn't enough for me). It's not funny to watch her badly delivers comic line... The story is interesting and use a theme simillar as the one in Les Liaisons dangereuses from Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. The cinematography by John Fontanna is good as usual and the recreation of the 17th century is well done.

Title : Betrayed Teens (1976)

Overview
A teenage biker scum kidnap the 14yr. old daughter of a pretentious New York couple. It's actually a ploy by the wife (Marlene Willoughby). The daughter and her friends take revenge on mom and dad in an orgy of incestual cocksucking and severe whipping.

My Impression
With this one I've finally found something that I was searching since 23 years, what was it? The name of an actress who was in the first Swedish Erotica loops (Andrea Learns How) I've seen. Her name is Amanda Blake, evidently this isn't her real name since she had a French or French Canadian accent (sound French Canadian to me) and her career was not a long one (5 movies and the already mentionned loops in 4 years).

Like all the Shaun Costello's one day wonder I've appreciated this one, but it isn't surprising since I like the most of the actors group who appear in his film. Of course you need to suspend your sense of disbelief since no one in the biker gang (including Amanda Blake) looks like teenagers and Leo Lovemore sure doesn't look like a private investigator. But frankly who cares?

Another great Costello's production with hot & realist action, a good story and without a dead moment.

Title : China Cat (1978)

Overview
A trio of dangerous femme fatals try to recover a priceless jade statue that private detective, Johnny Wadd, unknowingly has in his possession.

My Impression
First Johnny Wadd movie in this marathon, I've 2 others listed in this serie and for good mesure two Dan McCord movie also. I don't think it's necessary to explain what is the Johnny Wadd franchise since everybody had heard about it at one time or another, if you haven't please get out of the church basement from whom you are a prisonner :P

This one use a different formula than usual since Johnny Wadd isn't investigating a case, but he is the target of The Charlie's Devils Organisation (evidently a reference to Charlie's Angels) who try to recover The Jade Pussycat from him. The story is correct even if this isn't the best one in the franchise, the best one being The Danish Connection who is not even a xxx movie. On the acting side John Holmes isn't as bad as he usually is (of course he isn't an icon because of his acting ) and the girls in the organization do a correct job (particullary Paula Wain), of course there are a couple of miss lines but this isn't the end of the world for me...

Title : Dirty Susan (1977)

Overview
A private detective is hired to find a mysterious girl named Susan. He soon realizes that "Susan" is the girl he spent the previous night with, and with whom he had the best sex of his life. His investigation leads him into a variety of sexual situations.

My Impression
One of the Dan McCord movie I was talking about in the precedent review. This is a return to the East Coast my favorite production area. In this one the investigating part is just an excuse, since this is more about the effect of Susan on the characters sexual life. So you will get a lot of sex scene with Susan, but since she is played by Georgette Saunders this isn't a bad thing. The other important member of the cast are Shaun Costello (this is one of his One Day Wonder), Roger Caine (in one of his rare principal role), Kasey Rodgers (a great looking redhead, but her hair are dye in brown here), Erica Havens (who is a pretty bad actress) and Marcia Minor (not the most known actress, but a good one).

Like I've said the story isn't that great and a lot of moment are in the  ??? category, but it's a fun way to pass less than one hour in front of the TV.

Title : Every Inch a Lady (1975)

Overview
Harry Reems and Darby Lloyd Raines are a couple who have built up a thriving business around each's ability to satisfy lovers of the opposite sex. They started out with a plain ol' escort service, but soon found out they could make more cash doing the kinky stuff. So now they specialize in supplying well-paying customers with customized sexual services. The money's rolling in and they seem to be very much in love, but trouble's brewing. Darby overhears Harry pillow talking with one of their workers with whom he's been spending his off-hour sexual energies, and it turns out Harry and his new squeeze are planning to rub Darby out and take over. Suffice to say, Darby gets super even.

My Impression
First movie in this marathon that is really a classic ;D
Great comedy from the Amero's brothers, a fact that explain some of the homosexual moments in the film since John and Lem Amero were primary gay. Great cast with the great Darby Lloyd Rains (she gave another enjoyable performance in Naked Come the Stranger from Radley Metzger), Harry reems and Andrea True (hard to recognise untill the end). The scene at the opera between Marc Stevens and Erica Eaton where miss Eaton read an erotic novel to Stevens when he asked her to talk dirty while making it (all this score with wagner's Ride of the Valkyries) is a real classic.

Now I'm sure that some guy would not touched this because of the homosexual tone, but you will sure miss a great film... Anyway it's just Dr. Infinity who blow himself and come in his mouth while he pleasure himself with a cucumber this isn't the end of the world  I just love those weird moments in these classic films.

Title : F... And Lots of It! (1980)

Overview
How often have you woken up horny as hell after having a good old wet dream? Well, what if I were to tell you that somewhere there exists a Wet Dream Factory - a place where hot saucy dreams are manufactured?

This is the premise of F. The F action in F is fast and furious - hot, steaming and sweaty. The girls are gorgeous and there's plenty of them to ogle. F is most probably the horniest movie you will ever see.

My Impression
Even if this one had got a theatrical release it's important to understand that this isn't the same than the seventies films. More clearly it means that the story isn't really mind challenging. Not that it's a bad thing, but I prefer my movie with more story. In fact you can resume it by this : Hank Cannonball (John Leslie) follows his dream girl (Annette Haven) in an isolated house where he will make many weird encounters, but does this happen really or not?

To be honest this movie is quite enjoyable and fun. The first scene in the house where Hank enter in a room with three human dolls (Kandi Barbour, Mary Darling and Niki Stevens) is great (it's awesome to see how the girls don't move or blink at all). Of course not all the scenes are equally good, but in general they are funny.

Good film, but like most of the eighties productions it doesn't feel like a movie.

Title : Gina, The Foxy Chick (1974)

Overview
San Francisco story of a sad hooker struggling to support her gambling addicted boyfriend.

My Impression
Early west coast production filled with bad looking people, badly filmed, badly recorded, badly edited, badly acted and feel very long even if it runs only for 1h09.

Title : Hot Child In The City (1979)

Overview
Two great looking girls arrive in the city seeking employment in the film industry. During their lengthy interview, they watch many other people making love behind a series of doors. When they are offered the job they can't wait to join in on the hot sex action!

My Impression
This one is probably one of the only film where Marcia Minor (using the alias Brenda Lockwood) had the first role, I use "probably" and not "certainly" because I'm not sure since she's one of those actress who use a different alias in every movie. Add Rikki O'Neal (Debbie Does Dallas and Secret of a Willing Wife) to the cast and you are in my movie dream territory. The dream? 2 beautifull everyday girls who are the perfection for me, I don't really care for the supermodel or cheerleader type of girls since they are out of my league... but the girls next door type is another story (Marcia Minor looks even smaller than me and in my case at 5'2'' this is really a rarity ).

The film itself is quite good and use the girls lost in the big city theme. The story is quite simple and the film is a little bit sex heavy something that I usually don't like, but it's fine with me here. The thing that I haven't like, and the reason why the movie doesn't get a perfect score, is the use of 2 old loops (one with Jason Russel and the other with John Holmes) who are too evident because they are in bad shape.

One of the best I've seen in a long time... Great looking actresses, good music and, to be honest, quite arousing

Rating :

Edit
I've already succeed to find 3 of the songs in the movie ;D
That's The Meaning by Beautiful Bend
Boogie Motion by Beautiful Bend
Get Down by Gene Chandler

Tramontane by Foreigner is use in the movie also, but I have it already

Title : Insatiable (1980)

Overview
The legendary Marilyn Chambers plays Sondra Chase, a rich heiress and model. She finds life to be rather unfulfilling despite all her money. She even pursues acting in a movie to perk up her spirits. But nothing seems to do the trick.

My Impression
Another classic with the return of a legend after a 7 years pause in her adult career... And what a return
She was a living proof in this film that it's perfectly possible for a woman to age wonderfully, she looks even better at 28 years old that she was at 20 in Beyond the Green Door. She was not only a legend because of her look, but because of her acting talent and her personallity also. It's amazing to think that she had done only 2 adult movies in the seventies (Beyond the Green Door and Resurrection of Eve, Inside Marilyn Chambers is composed of outakes of the two precedent movies) and that she was one of the most, if not the most, respected actress in the bussiness.

The Film itself is a great couple movie who is played like an erotic one and not a pornographic, of course this is an hardcore film. But this is so professionally made and act that you don't feel like watching a xxx movie while watching. This movie was made with a big budget and this is easy to see on the screen since half of it was filmed at London. The supporting cast is nice also with some of the best male actors in the bussiness like David Morris (a Tony Danza look alike who had died of a drug overdose 10 years ago), Richard Pacheco (one of the best actor of the adult industry), John Leslie (always a favorite of mine who continue to work in the industry 38 years after his first movie, of course he is a director now) and John Holmes who is perfect in this since he doesn't have to act.

Strong recommandation, even if you usually don't like to watch adult cinema.

Title : Johnny Wadd (1971)

Overview
It all started with Johnny Wadd, a film shot at a time when pornography was illegal, sex was rampant and rules were obsolete. Bob Chinn wrote and directed what became a series of legendary detective movies that traced his rise from film student to porn pioneer. In his first feature role, John Holmes enriches the screen with an easy confidence matched by a solid acting ability and jaw dropping prowess.

My Impression
To be honest I'm a little bit deceived by this one, since it was the movie that had launch the great Johnny Wadd franchise. It doesn't feel like a movie to me and the fact it was made in 71 isn't an excuse since ... Love You to Death (http://www.dvdcollectorsonline.com/index.php/topic,5062.msg82615.html#msg82615) and The Debauchers (http://www.dvdcollectorsonline.com/index.php/topic,5335.msg91183.html#msg91183) made the same years had good production value. The film is made mostly in one room with the exception of a beach exterior at the end. The story isn't really develloped and looks more like an excuse to show repetitive sex scenes with John Holmes and a different girls.

Anyway this isn't the first franchise who had start on the wrong foot and this film historical importance can't be denied. Of course VCX had given a first rate treatment with this DVD release.

Title : Kate and the Indians (1979)

Overview
Kate and her girlfriend Lisa, students of Professor Von Martin, have found a medallion in the desert. The puzzle of the medallion leads the professor and Kate into a wild & untraveled indian wasteland, where they are lost and stranded. At this point, our heroine is forced to take part in the tribe's ancient XXX rituals.

My Impression
Nice little comedy even if this is a little bit too over the top at the end with the indian tribe. Great casting with Kandi Barbour (she is great to deliver comedic lines), Jack Shute (the professor), Kay Parker is also in this in a small but important role and for all of you Star Wars fans you have the only actor who was in the original trilogy and a xxx film (guess who?). The movie doesn't really make sense while watching it, but at the end it does since you understand a little fact from the beginning you have forgot.

Not the best film ever made, but certainly not a waste of time.

Title : Lickity Split (1974)

Overview
A lonely soldier on the feverline of lust...

My Impression
Since the overview is more the tag line than a synopsis, I'll try my best to wrote one. A soldier is on his way to his new base, we will follow him travelling from New Jersey to Philadelphia. So it isn't too complicated

This one is the first movie directed by Carter Stevens and it had a good representation of the big name in the New York area for this period (Sandy Fox, Bree Anthony, Mary Stuart, Day Jason, Linda Lovemore, ...). Mark Andrews who play the soldier posses a real anoying voice...

Sadly the movie was badly recorded (too much live sound) and it's really hard to understand the dialogue. But it's a fun film anyway, if a bus ride would be really like the end scene I would sure take it more often in place of walking ;)

Title : Midnight Heat (1983)

Overview
A hired killer goes on the run after being caught in bed with the wife of a mob boss. While he's holed up in a scuzzy Times Square room waiting for the hitmen he knows are after him, he reflects back on his life and what brought him to the situation he's in now.

My Impression
This one is from Roger Watkins, maybe you are familliar with him since he was the director of The Cuckoo Clocks of Hell (who was renamed The Last House on Dead End Street by the distributor to cash on The Last House on the Left title even if it was made before) one of the best and weird horror film of the seventies who is sadly lost in its complete form (2h55), of course I own the 2005 Barrel Entertainment special edition released of it (OOP like all the others DVD of this defunct label). This is the first time I watch one of his adult film who are hard to find (I own Her Name Was Lisa also who is supposed to be his masterpiece but it's a cut version with 20 minutes of material removed, but the good news is that I've found the complete version ;D) and wasn't sure of what will be waiting for me in my dvd reader...

I can say it's clearly evident that Watkins is a very talented director or was since he had died 2 years ago at the young age of 58 years old. Even with a very limited budget he had succeed to create a very claustrophobic and nighmarish mood in this film (but is it a surprise when we know that he had made LHODES for 800$). Almost all the film happen in one hotel room where the hitmen (Jamie Gillis) is hidden talking of his past with a call-girl (Champagne) to understand why he had reached this point. While he talk about his past, we get many images of the street life who consist of people (normal people, homeless people and weird people) walking in the street (all those scenes are presented in slow motion and it feels emotionless kind of like a dead zombified word). At the end you are in for a big surprise.

Great acting performance from Gillies (probably his best with the one in Water Power) well supported by Champagne. Good supporting cast also with Dixie Dew (The Story of Prunella), Tish Ambrose (Raw Talent), Joey Karson (The Story of Prunella) and Sharon Mitchell (The Violation of Claudia) who are all there for a small but important role in the fall of Allan (the hitmen).

This is exactly the kind of film I love : A film with sex in it and not a sex film.

Highly recommanded

Title : Naked Afternoon (1976)

Overview
She is nineteen, her name is Thomasina, and you've never met a girl quite like her. She is free, completely uninhibited and incredibly seductive beyond her years. Starting as a masseuse in an elegant Beverly Hills spa, she meets a wealthy film producer, who promise her a fabulous career in films. It is only a small part in an X-rated film, but there she begins a dizzling rise to the top of the world, and the viewer is treated to a rare behind the scenes expose.

My Impression
Not good or bad in fact your appreciation for this film will depend of your appreciation for Abigail Clayton, since this film is a love letter to miss Clayton. Personally I like her innocence and her juvenile appearance, but I can't say that it's my favorite movie with her. Dixie and 7 Into Snowy are much better films... An interesting trivia about her, she played the model (Rita) who is killed at her home by Joe Spinell in Maniac.

Title : The Other Side of Julie (1978)

Overview
A man leads a double life. During the day he's a typical suburban husband, with a good job, nice house and great family. By night he is a male prostitute, servicing rich women. His life takes a wrong turn, however, when one of his "clients" turns out to be his wife's aunt.

My Impression
Not as good than expected, since this one is rated highly. Sure John Leslie is good as usual and Joey Silvera give a good acting performance for a change, but this film doesn't really keep me glued to my screen. Maybe it was because the story isn't original or the lack of known actress (Kristine Heller and Paula Wain are the only recognizable name) or the bad shape of the film (a lot of image distortion and tracking lines). The film get better in the middle, so it isn't a complete failure and Jackie O'Neill, the actress who play the aunt, is a nice looking and good actress.

Title : Playgirls of Munich (1977)

Overview
Zebedy Colt and Roger Caine play two mixed-up American telephone repairmen who stow away on a plane and end up parachuting out over Munich, Germany during the Olympics. Broke and horny, the guys meet up with a lovely young fraulein who gets them a job - but not before introducing them to sex, German style! It's one riotous mishap after another as the bumbling buffoons go from job to job - and girl to girl - in an attempt to make enough cash to get back to the States. But with all the blazing bratwurst and hot wenches these guys have on their hands, who'd want to go back?

My Impression
Good comedy filmed at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria. So it's evident that I know none of the girls, but most of them are attractive. The film rest on the comedic talent of the Colt/Caine duo and they succeed totally... Most of their attempt to find works are funny (the funniest being when they become the guardians of Miss Bavaria). The film became more conventional after 50 minutes when the story is forget for the final pool orgy.

I'm sure that some of German members would appreciate this one, specially Tom (you live in Bavaria no?).

Yes, I live in Bavaria. I am not sure you will get the right idea how Germany looks like watching this movie ;)
At least the cover hints that it portrays very stereotypical Bavarians. You know, we do not all run around with Lederhosen  :P
When portaying Germans, American film producers seem to have two views on Germany. Either they think we are all blonde and Nazis, or they think all Germans run around in Bavarian/Austrian traditional clothes, which in reality is only worn by a few people at gatherings like the Oktoberfest and other festivities.

Title: Re: 2009 Jimmy's Alphabet Marathon Review
Post by: Jimmy on November 14, 2009, 11:38:36 PM
It isn't too stereotypical, only Colt and Caine wear the traditional clothes for one scene. The adult Heidi series made in Germany is much more stereotypical (too bad this one is only available in german since it's a fun adult franchise). But it's true that I think of tall blond woman, polka music and heavy drinking when I think of Germany

It's more the old look of the place that I was thinking by appreciating. Just like any New Yorkers love to see their city before the eighties disneylisation in the old golden age NY movies.

Title : Liquid Lips (1976)

Overview
Follow up to 'Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here' has the lusty, always-on-the-make, private detective Johnny Wadd returning to his home town of San Francisco after his caper in Mexico to help the authorities bust a drug smuggling ring led by mobster Tony Sorrento and sleazy nightclub owner Augre Valentine with the captured stash of heroin confiscated in Mexico which Johnny decides to use himself as bait to lure Sorrento in the open, unaware that one of Valentine's thugs Frankie, (first glimpsed in the previous film) recognizes Johnny Wadd and decides to have Valentine set a trap for him. Aiding Johnny is a female government agent named Charlie Hammond who can't seem to get enough of Johnny's famous 'tool'.

My Impression
This one is more like the Johnny Wadd movies I know and like ;D
A good detective story with a lot of cheesy dialogue of course, film in more than one location and with a bizarre karate/boxing fight between Wadd (John Holmes) and one of the bad guy henchman (the director himself, Bob Chinn). Of course the film had is share of sex scenes, but they aren't gratuitious and fit with the storyline. Evidently Holmes isn't a great actor (even in the adult standart), but like I've said in another review this isn't why he was a living legend.

Title : Raw Talent (1984)

Overview
This is one porn movie you'll watch every second of! It's critically acclaimed, award-winning film. It's also the most shocking and outrageous adult film ever made. It's RAW TALENT and there's nothing like it. A prize-winning screenplay rivets you with a compelling story. Unusually entertaining, it's pure dynamite for couples; an erotic experience you'll never forget...

My Impression
This one is base looselly on the real life of Jerry Butler who play also the title role in this film. More specifically this is about a young actor who try to survive in the New-York acting scene, but as many others actors have a hard time doing it. Finally he will get his chance with a role in a day soap opera, but does his past will catch him?

surprisingly this movie doesn't present the adult industry in a "pink glasses" way, this is a tough world where everyone work for themselve and no one would hesitate to pull down someone if they can get something from it. The film itself is really good for a mid-eighties production, it feels much more like a movie than an adult production. Of course the fact that the cast is filled with very talented actors, the story is well written and you had a lot of production values surely help.

Here we got a winner, a film that remains a film without the sex scenes. The downside is that the dvd currently available is cut and not because the content is objectionable like some others cut film I've reviewed here. I can't understand why all the fight scenes and the turkey scene are cut, maybe it's understandable for the turkey scene but... Anyway the copy I own is a composite one made from the current dvd and the vhs release so my film is complete and the diffence of quality isn't too distracting (as it is in Candy Girls).

I don't own yet the sequel, but from what I've read it's equally good. This one is strongly recommanded, but keep in mind that the uncut version is unavailable on dvd.

Title : South of the Border (1976)

Overview
There's nothing quite like a hot-blooded Latina lust bunny to spice up your dull sex life. Whether you're bilingual or just cunnilingual, you'll find plenty of bodacious babes willing and able to speak the international language of lust in this lasciviously loco video romp! Take Maria, for example. To her, every man is a potential amigo. Then there is Carlotta, a sexy stripper who warms up for her "muy caliente" on-stage antics by joining her fans in some pre-show passion. That's not to mention two hot-to-trot stewardesses, who discover that you don't need an airplane to go around the world. And that is just the beginning of all the dirty, decadent delights that await you - South of the Border!

My Impression
One word would be enough to reviewed this film, but I will make an effort... I think everyone know that I'm a big fan of those seventies film and that I usually like them, this is certainly not the case here. This film is a poor excuse for a movie... The director (who is unknow) had found some stock footage of a mexican beach (after watching the same 15 seconds segment more than 20 times, you become a little tired of it) and he had decided to make a film around that. So we will see Debbie Truelove walking from house to house spying all the action who doesn't happen there, since old loops are used (not to say pretty bad one) and commenting what happen with an inaudible mexican accent. Even if Rene Bond, Maria Arnold (pleasant surprise since she wasn't listed in the iafd cast for this film), Nina Fause (or Sandy Carey, I'm not 100% sure) and Andrea True appeared in those loops it isn't enough since they are bad and cheap. Complete waste of time....

The word is pathetic of course ::)

Title : Tropic of Desire (1979)

Overview
The infamous World War II cathouse, "The Pink Flamingo", is the setting for TROPIC OF DESIRE. Georgina Spelvin, the first lady of the adult cinema, plays Frances, the warm-hearted madam, who caters to the sex starved servicemen. Along with the explicit scenes as the troops roll in, are slices of genuine nostalgia, via the sets and period music. One of the more interesting concepts yet tackled. The stag film within the film is most unique.

My Impression
This one is pretty good, in fact it takes a long time to get the adult movie vibes from it. Why? Simple, the movie opens with a sex scene between Kitty Shayne and James Price and it takes more than 30 minutes for the next one. Of course it isn't a problem for me since it gives the time to set the story, the characters and the drama, but I'm sure that most of the casual viewer won't like it. The WW2 vibes is well done by the set designing, the costume, the music and the acting. Talking of acting Georgina Spelvin is as good as always, Ken Scudder gives the best performance of his career as an old depressed sailor and the rest of the cast without shining do also a good job. We even get a nice fight in the end who didn't had to be ashamed in front of some Hollywood fighting scene (of course I talk of a fisting fight, not an armed combat). For the stag film I will only say that it really looks like those old B/W mail order only short loops and that it countains one of the strangest thing I've seen done with a cigarette...

Title : Ultra Flesh (1980)

Overview
She comes to Earth on a quest of love. In a bleak future world, the earth's male population has been rendered impotent by space aliens bent on conquering the world. Things begin to look up for the earthlings when an intergalactic council dispatches sultry space vixen Ultra Flesh a vixen from another world who leads a space legion of 26 Fleshettes to earth to foil the plan and re-energize the world's male populace. A science fiction sextravaganza sextraordinaire.

My Impression
Since I ain't the biggest fan of Seka I was not in a hurry to watch this, but since I don't own a lot of movie who start with an U that I've not already reviewed here my choices were limited. So my expectations were not really high...

The film itself is a funny science fiction one (I would have prefered to watch Star Babe that I've found friday, but not too many U in this title) with some good performance (Jamie Gillis, Tyler Reynolds, John Seeman and Lisa De Leeuw). But what had really made this a funny watching time for me is Luis De Jesus (if the name sound familliar it's because he was the star of Bloodsucking Freaks). He act in a complete crazy way, even more that he was in Bloodsucking Freaks and we have the pleasure of seeing him get in the action in this film with Lisa De Leeuw ( :hmmmm:).

Better than expected, but a sure waste of good looking actress...

Title : The Virgin and the Lover (1973)

Overview
Eric Edwards stars in the psychologically driven tale of a man trapped inside his own sexual fantasy world. It seems that he's only ever fallen for one woman, a gal who died in a tragic car crash years before. Now, Eric lives with a mannequin that he's dressed up in her old clothes and has vivid dreams about the dummy coming to life and trysting with him. He ends up at the office of a psychiatrist whose delectable young secretary just happens to think he's dreamy. This is early porn at its most complex and ambitious, taking a long, hard look at modern relationships even while serving up a series of white-hot sex scenes. They don't make 'em like this anymore -- artsy, moody and scorchingly erotic.

My Impression
What a nice surprise this one was... A really complicated love story who feels much more like a mainstream 70's movie than an adult film. In fact the sex scenes doesn't seem necessary at all (particullary the threesome between Marc Stevens, Julia Sorel and Helen Madigan) and look like they were add to the film later. Even more the only scene that I've really enjoyed are the fake one, they were looking more natural and erotic to me. Clearly here the acting of the main characters (Eric Edwards and Leah Marlon) and the good adaptation of an old French novel written by an anonymous author are the strong points. This is probably a film that would be more appreciated by the feminine audience than the masculine one (even if I've really appreciated it) and I will make sure to not forget to include it in my next shipment for one of the member here (even if I haven't received any reviews for the previous ones :P).

I'm sure that I've seen Leah Marlon in something more mainstream, but since she had obviously used an alias no database can't help me. Maybe one of you can recognize her?

Title : Wicked Schoolgirls (1981)

My Impression
No synopsis for this one, but the film is about photo blackmailing and schoolgirls sex (don't worry no one is underage here). While I was watching the thing in my mind was that this movie is incomplete, even if it seems that my copy running time and the IAFD time are the same. This is an Avon productions and as you could remember from their previous I've reviewed they are usually quite rough and violent, but it isn't the case here, in fact when some rough stuff seem to happen the movie switch to something else. Of course I understand that it isn't Phil Prince or Joe Davian who had directed this film, but Carter Stevens.

The film itself is a fun watch with a good soundtrack and a good theme in general. Even if the acting isn't really good, the story is confusing and deceiving as an Avon production (except from some water sport there nothing unusual here).

It looks like I haven't like it, but the day it will be officially release by After Hour Cinema as a part of their Carter Stevens Director Serie I will buy it. Why? Because I'm certain that this film is incomplete and I don't care what IMDB or IAFD can say about this.

Title : Sex in the Comics (1973)

Overview
Your favorite comic strips come to life and we do mean come in one hilariously erotic scene after another! You'll never see this kind of action in the Sunday papers!

My Impression
This used the premisses of the old Tijuana Bible cartoons (they were illegal used of cartoons characters like Betsy Boop, Popeye or Dick Tracy on 8 pages pornographic comics between 1910 and 1960). Since this is about comics the effects are cartoony (is it a word?)
Do I need to say that it's kind of weird to see an actor with this make-up and a prosthetic penis doing the act in a drawing background

The movie is overacted, but it goes well with the theme of this movie (by the way the overacting is volontary). Of course everyone used a false name, but it was easy to recognize some of the early actors of this genre like Angela Carnon (she's the journalist and her role doesn't involve hardcore sex), Nina Fause, Cyndee Summers, Rick Cassidy, Keith Erickson, Rick Lutze and some others that I can't place a name on.

Evidently with this genre of novelty movie it get repetitive fast and I was checking the time often to see when it will end. Not something that I will rewatch, but it's an important historic piece of the genre.

Title : The Young Like It Hot (1983)

Overview
An adult classic! When the operators at a small phone company get replaced by computers, they set out to show that there are some services a machine just can't give. They reach out and touch their customers in the best way they know how. These gals really know how to operate, so go ahead and dial E for Erotic action at its hottest. This film was the first appearance of gorgeous Hyapatia Lee.

My Impression
Better than average 80's movie, of course the fact it wasn't shoot on tape contribute a lot to this. Even if this movie had the same problem than many others of this period (too sex heavy)1, we don't get the impression that it's completely gratuitious. In fact many of those scenes are erotic and short, good thing since nothing bore me more than a 20 minutes where all the position are used in a mechanical way. The acting for the most part is good, evidently Shauna Grant wasn't the better actress (in fact she is a crappy one) but she was so beautifull and innocent looking that I can forgive her lack of talent. Anyway Eric Edwards, Hyapatia Lee, Kay Parker and Ray Wells compensate amply for that. The story is fun also and show the service was better when it was real person working at desk help and not NFBSK computer.

Honestly tell me she wasn't beautifull

Title : Diary of a Schizo (1972)

Overview
Rene Bond plays an inhibited housewife trapped in a sexless marriage to an old coot (Keith Erickson). She begins having trippy erotic dreams. A narrator wanders into the frame and explains to us that she is suffering from a disease called "Sex-o-phrenia" ("One of the oldest maladies." he says.)

Pretty soon. Rene is clutching her head, contorting her face and becoming sex-crazed. ("Her alter-ego is trying to break through!")

What all this means is lots of naked foolery, including a funny moment when she climbs on her horrified hubby and starts sucking his ham. ("You gutter slut! I will pray for your soul!")

My Impression
Nothing special or particularly interesting for a casual viewer in this film, since it's an early production in the genre. So it isn't yet a real movie with good production value, but it's a step ahead from the loops feature. The print isn't really well preserved and the sound isn't very audible and mostly out of sync. But it isn't a waste of time since the movie star is Rene Bond, one of earliest star of the genre who had appeared in many drive-in, sexploitation and, of course, adult productions.

It's over for this year ;D

It was certainly more fun to do this one than the horror marathon in october. Of course the fact that I've watched only movies in my favorite genre had contributed a lot to my enjoyement.

Hope that I haven't bored you too much with my raving about those films that most people doesn't consider as film (too bad for them, they don't know what they miss).

After those 2 months where I've reviewed everything watched, I think I'm due for a break. Since I don't want to annoy you with adult movies review and I must continue to decrease the number of my unwatched movie (I've always more than 300 adult films not watch who want to be seen).
