Anyone seen this? It's a British film, but on a very limited release. I'm not sure it's been shown here yet, but oddly it is available on Region 1 DVD. Looks very intriguing and I think it would especially suit Jimmy's tastes on two levels. It's definitely "little known" for one, but it is also a quirky story featuring tasteful female nudity! I mean that too. The main character can pause time, and he uses this to appreciate his surroundings. Including undressing women and sketching them, before carefully dressing them again before he releases pause. The trailer explains the reason and implies the metaphor better than I can, but suffice to say, this is not a perverted voyeur (in fact there is no hint of a sexual theme), but an artist, and if the film has pulled off that rpesentation, then it should be very good.

Oh, and Michelle "Eastenders/Bionic Woman" Ryan is in it too...

I have place it on my Amazon wishlist and I will probably ordered it in june. I've a lot of pre-order that are suppose to be release the 27 and that doesn't count some other stuff too (book, charity donation,...) so my credit card is a little bit high right now
. I will place it in my next order or pre-order at Amazon promise and let you know what I think about it.

I have pre-ordered it tonight with something else for the june 10. Don't know if it's a good movie, but the score on imdb is good (for what it's worth) and the synopsis look certainly interesting. I will try to write a review of it or, at least, let you know if I've like it.

Just ordered it too, if only on the fact it's got Michelle Ryan in it! But then I read a bit, went to the official site, and it looks really interesting! Thanks Jon!

No problem! I was tempted to try the R1, but hopefully it will come available here after you've told me how good it is...

How dare you. My credit card ran away when it saw that. Now I have to tempt it out of hiding, again.

I've got it. Michelle doesn't have a big part in it, and she's not one of the girls you see topless.
Sadly, I've never seen topless girls at my Sainsburys

You're not going to the right Sainsbury's...
But what's the film like as a whole?

Well in dvdprofiler, I rated it at 6/10.
It's a typical cheaply made Brit romcom. Not anywhere near the 4 weddings league, but better than others.
A better film I've recently watched is 'Keeping Mum'. Just a comedy and again cheaply made, but quite funny. It has one of the girls from the new St. Trinian's movie in it as well. Oh and if you've not seen St. Trinians, its riot. Just a shame they cut half the lines that were in the original version and replaced them with references to Colin Firth's previous work. Original lines are in the deleted scenes. Although some made it.

I watched Cashback when I got it last July. Didn't really watch it as much as breeze through it. Sat down tonight and really watched it. A very engaging film. Simply told, with a twist on time travel(or the lack of time traveling) and an exploration of relationships.
Jon, I recomend getting it. You may not love it, but, I don't think you will hate it. You may have to watch it a second time, as I did, but I think you will enjoy it.

Cheers, that fits in with what I thought from the trailer.
