Anyone interested in seeing the BFI's restoration of Hitchcock's silent 1927 film The Ring can see it streamed live from Hackney where it is being premiered with a new score. That was excellent. Good live Jazz band providing a new score and the film itself was a cracker. Fantastic fight scene, especially to say it predates Raging Bull by how many decades?
