OK... here is the deal. In this marathon you watch/review 1 title for every year from the year you were born through out the year 2012. So obviously this marathon will be longer for some of us then others. For example... I will have to watch/review 43 movies! On the other hand if my daughter Brittany joins in... she would only have to watch/review 17 titles. Of course I know none of us has a movie for 2012 yet... but that is where the best part comes in. Deadline for completing this marathon is December 31, 2012! I would think by then all of us will have a 2012 movie in our collection.

How you do your reviews is totally up to you... whether you go in chronological order or skip around. Whether you do a long detailed review... mini review... or even only a rating attached to your list. It is all good... all totally up to you. The only requirement is that you have fun!

Thanks for splitting it up.  I wasn't sure how people would prefer it so just did it the way it was done last year.

The first time I tried this, I used a different title for my list which I still prefer but I'll go with the list title everyone else is using this time.  But I won't start my reviews until January 1.

Of course, not the first post looks a bit weird, as it is now by Sebastien yet still reads "my daughter" The first clue was already when I thought "I didn't know Sebastien is almost as old as I"

I decided to scrap my previous attempt (closing the thread appropriately) and will start fresh here. I guess I will have to review 45 movies for this, that is close to one per week *gulp* I haven't decided yet if I should go in sequence or random.

I found I haven't been in the mood to watch any for the year I am at... so put this to the side. I guess I should go ahead and do it out of order... but then I am afraid I will leave my least favorite years till the end... and end up not completing it.

Thanks for the reminder. I was gone for 10 days and might have forgotten bout this otherwise. I have planned to watch 2001 for 1968, but that requires a certain mood to be in. Will see if it fits tonight

I do want to do this....really.  I just haven't had a lot of time for movies in the last month unfortunately.  Work has been a bit nuts.

Don't worry, you are not alone. I have done 2/44 in 6 weeks and must pick up pace as well. So far there is still more than 10 months to go...

I am really doing this slower myself this year. But on purpose. Want it to last a while. But so far I only done 12 movies for this. If I am not mistaken... I was done by this time last year.
