Drive (Release Date: 29/06/2012)

This is the reason why I rarely pay any attention to German releases - and as a result miss the important stuff (like Shit Year).

That's a long way off! The UK release is already out. I added the full detailed specs someone sent us to Rewind the other day:

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (Releasedate: 13/09/2012)

That's a long way off! The UK release is already out.

It's running in our theatres right now. I was planning on ordering it (it has Gary Oldman after all) but the one-star Amazon reviews dissuaded me.

$10.49 @ Amazon.com

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (2011)

Hobo with a Shotgun (2011)

£6.94 @ Amazon.co.uk

Horrible Bosses (2011)

$10.99 @ Amazon.com

Mallrats (1995)

CA$13.99 @ Amazon.ca

I was planning on ordering it (it has Gary Oldman after all) but the one-star Amazon reviews dissuaded me.
If you liked "The Constant Gardener", "The Tailor of Panama", or even the original of "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" you should give it a try.
It's (as typical for a John le Caré adaptation) slow paced, but nevertheless gripping and definitely an interesting watch. If you found the movies above boring you should omit it.

Placed another bunch of pre-orders today:

The Hunger Games (Releasedate: 23/08/2012)

Smoke (Releasedate: 03/05/2012)

O Brother, Where Art Thou? (Releasedate: 13/04/2012)

Pre-order from Diabolik DVD for april (they are available at Amazon Canada, but for 10$ more each Red Card)

I'm waiting for this collection to start since more than two years Dancing

The sexy Ryôko Watanabe stars as Ami, a jaded housewife who pitches herself, body and soul, into the Tokyo decadence of the decade in an attempt to pep up her marriage.  She secretly joins the elite “Madame Machiko Society Club” to experiment with discrete sex games and the thrill of making love to anonymous men.  The sexual perversion and sick depravity she is subjected to, by her clients, is much more than she bargained for.  Bondage, beads and whips are only the beginning!  Can she escape this secret life she has chosen, or will it destroy her forever?

A group of young women is thrown into a horrible juvenile hall, due to their illegal acts. They soon wish they were back on the outside, as a gang of inmates subjects this “fresh meat” to the horrors of being locked up.  Mayumi, a new inmate with a mysterious past, stands up for herself and fights back!  NO ONE is going to push her around, and she hatches an escape plan to seek revenge on the person who had her incarcerated.

TRUE STORY OF A WOMAN IN JAIL: SEX HELL is a sleazy, sexually graphic and surprisingly violent entry in the “women in prison” genre.  The opening uniform changing, nude medical examination sessions, communal scrubbings in the bathhouse, nimble-fingered lesbians and vicious catfights are all here… and more!

Audrey has a habit of doing "possibly the best Hitchcock movie that wasn't made by Hitchcock" films! I could have said the same of Wait Until Dark: http://www.dvdcollectorsonline.com/index.php/topic,4159.msg82205.html#msg82205

Well, I'm going to keep my mouth shut. Embarrassed I know what I think they are from the covers and descriptions, but each to his own. Yet your comment intrigues me. Why were these worth pre-ordering and even waiting two years for?

I like this genre. BTW this isn't what you think it is Whistle

No hardcore sex in this, you can compare this to the Angel Guts serie if you want. Those films were quite mainstream in Japan during the seventies.

Yupp,

but I guess I'm not British enough, or simply too old.
Judging from the trailer it doesn't seem to be my cup of tea.

Had to place my Pre-Order for True Blood: Season 4 though
